Some of the worst customer experience I have ever had. Your servers acted like they just didn’t care and were above the customer. Completely messed up multiple orders, never coming back again.

The only reason why I gave ambience three stars was because it was crowded, and we were in such close proximity to strangers at other tables that it was hard to have a conversation with my fellow diner.

Food was very good however the service didn’t match the food. We sat at the bar which we enjoy, and since it was a nice evening the front was open to the sidewalk for outdoor dining. There was a group at the bar near the front door that were noisy to the point of being disturbing. None of that would have mattered were it not for the music, why made conversation nearly impossible.

At Ella's the prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious. They did not rush their service and we were able to take our time.

Our server was very nice, but did seem to forget about us a few times. There were only three occupied tables when we arrived, so there was no need for a reservation, and after we had the food, we realized why. It was not good. The zucchini “zeppoles” didn’t resemble or taste like zeppoles in any way. They were overcooked to the point where the rocky outer shell was nearly impenetrable. I ordered the chicken parm, which was again, overcooked - both the chicken and the pasta. The chicken appeared to be prepared by someone who’d never worked in a kitchen before and didn’t know how to use a knife. It was paper thin and burnt on one end and the other was an inch and a half thick, which could’ve been due to the random knuckle bone that was somehow missed when prepping. I’ve never seen a cut of chicken like this before and can’t imagine it was intentional. It looked like they left it under the broiler too long since the cheese was as brown as the breading and pretty much indistinguishable both in flavor and texture. My wife order the salmon, which she said tasted like it was also deep fried and came on top of something that was supposed to be risotto. It looked like one of those rice side dish packs from the dollar tree but had more sauce than my dish. Watch Top Chef, people. If you can’t make risotto, DON’T MAKE RISOTTO!!! We were also seated under a dripping exposed AC duct. I guess it’s supposed to look cool? I never understood that in restaurants and don’t see why it’s not a health code violation. Maybe they have lots of HVAC enthusiasts come in and marvel at their setup. I couldn’t say. But it did no favors for us. Positives: The drinks were good. Nothing we’d go back for, but they were well made by the bartender. Also, 10% off if you show your tickets for that night’s show at The Paramount. That’s pretty much it.

The food was fine, and the service was fine. The only problem is that they had the A/C blasting, and fans on fast at 7:30pm, when it was 68 degrees outside. It was too cold in the restaurant to enjoy the food.

Mediocre food. Say at a high table by the window and it was cold and rainy.

Because the menu is mostly "small plates" for sharing, we were expecting pretty small portions. However, each dish we ordered was a very generous portion enough for several people, that we even had some leftovers to take home. Each dish was super flavorful and came out very quickly. Our favorite was the roasted Brussels sprouts appetizer. Our waiter was kind, patient, and funny. I accidentally (embarassingly) knocked our pizza off of the table, and our waiter very graciously laughed it off and insisted on having another one made for us, free of charge. Our whole experience there was very positive, and I look forward to returning!
