Elk Ave Prime is located in the heart of downtown Crested Butte on Elk Avenue. We feature hand carved Prime and Wagyu steaks, Colorado lamb, Elk, Buffalo, fresh Seafood, farm to restaurant garden salads and more.

We feature many beers on tap, most of which are Colorado born, as well as the largest wine selection in the valley. You can enjoy any of our drinks from our outdoor patio or cozy up next to our fireplace, great after a long day of skiing.

Elk Ave Prime is one of the largest venues in Crested Butte, ideal for large parties or wedding receptions.

This is one of our favorite spots to eat when we visit CB, and it did not dissappint. The staff is friendly. The service is wonderful. And the food is by far the best that CB has to offer. 10/10 recommend!

It was the best birthday dinner, ever! We sat at the bar with Greg and Patrick taking care of us. They were fantastic! So attentive. Always checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was the best! We visit Elk Avenue Prime every time we come to Crested Butte. And we will continue to do so. Thanks for a wonderful birthday experience!

Food and service were excellent. Like the new off season menu. Much better than last off season. Received excellent service from Patrick.

Loved our meal here. The food was fantastic, if not overgenerous. But a shout out for sure to our waitperson, McKenzie, who did a great job, always checking in on us and making sure we were in good shape. Many thanks.

Very disappointed!!! Arrived to our reservation early only to be sat at a table and receive no service for over 30 minutes. Parties around us and received water, bread, drinks and even apps by the time a service member came to us. We left soon after. Waitress and manager even were aware of situation as I received a call immediately after our departure for "out of character service". Funny to notice that as we walked out the door. My wife and I celebrated 6 years together elsewhere in Crested Butte. Would not recommend Elk Ave Prime.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, salad to dessert. (The butter cake!) Matt, our server, was professional and spot on. Dinner at Elk Prime always enhances our Crested Butte visits.

Patrick was our waiter and was super nice and attentive. Our steak came out a little undercooked, so he took it back, and it came back to us perfectly. The drinks were delicious, and we can't wait to go back. Definitely recommend Elk Ave. Prime!

My wife had a filet mignon, I had the elk steak. It was delicious, both cooked perfectly. We also split a Caesar salad, mashed potatoes & crispy brussels sprouts. Amy was our great waitress. We enjoyed the experience.

Service and experience was good as always. My steak was over cooked, asked for med-rare and came out charred and med-well. Disappointed considering it's $70 lol! Didn't send it back because we were celebrating an anniversary and didn't want to fuss. Otherwise was a good night.
