Elizabeth Street Café is a neighborhood Vietnamese cafe and French bakery in South Austin opened in December 2011. The little restaurant boasts sunny dining rooms and a shady garden patio and serves fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as takeout.

We had the best time at this true gem of Austin. The menu is the perfect length- not too many options to overwhelm you but enough to make you want everything! We went for brunch but will be back for the rest of the menu soon. Dani was our server and she was a perfect representation of hospitality! She was kind, helped us navigate the menu and made us feel right at home. The manager, Jennifer, stopped by and we were even more impressed by her professionalism and hospitality. She was so genuine and it made us feel incredibly special. Entire staff was 10/10. Highly recommend!!!!

Very loud. Lovely service. The tables are extremely close and it was very hard to talk.

The absolute cutest little spot. I loved the dumplings, the peanut sauce, and I had the coziest earl grey tea. The service was impeccable.

Loved the food and drinks here! It was a bit pricey, but definitely worth it! We sat outside and it was a super cute vibe and atmosphere.

Cute place was packed for Sunday lunch. Spring roll was good but I found the grilled pork bun meh. My partner enjoyed the chicken bahn mi and thought the bread was delish. I also had the tea/lemonade which I found remarkably salty. Should have sent it back. Maybe I misordered since it seemed to be a very popular place. I might try again. Oh and the parking is a bear.

Food was delicious as always. As they’ve gotten busier they don’t accommodate any requests. I had reserved the table outside, there was no one at the restaurant as it was early and asked to move inside, they said no. By the time we left 1.5 hrs later they were still many empty tables inside. We tried to move to a different off sun and that wasn’t possible. Minimal business outside. Good place but not for special occasions

The evening was relaxing and the food was healthy and delicious! We sat outside and the misting fans were nice and the air was cool. Was an enjoyable evening!
