Founded in 2016, Eliza Restaurant & Bar is a cozy contemporary Creole restaurant serving local Louisiana food. After many years spent working in the hospitality industry in New Orleans, Russell & Sally Davis set out to open a simple concept in the Baton Rouge market - a scratch kitchen featuring Creole classics using fresh and local ingredients - all served with an abundance of genuine Southern hospitality.

Overpriced for the quality of food you get. Food was under seasoned, overcooked, and expensive. Got the pimento cheese balls which you get 4 small ones for 15$ in jelly. They basically turned to mush by time you eat them. Burger somehow tasted like nothing. Meat wasn’t seasoned. Taco seasoning on French fries but they were good.

The quality of the food we serve at Eliza is of the utmost importance to us so it’s truly disappointing to hear that you felt we missed the mark with your meal. Please know that we are committed to using fresh, local products and all of our dishes are made from scratch, never frozen and we feel like that extra attention to detail and quality usually translates to great experiences, but sadly in this case it did not for your party. We hope you might consider joining us again in the future and trying some other items that might be more to your liking. We appreciate your visit and your feedback very much.

This was my first time ever hearing of this restaurant. A friend of mine suggest I have my birthday dinner here. It was easy to make a reservation for a large party here (I recommend no group larger than eight people). The service was good and quick, the food was deliy, and the prices are pretty decent. My friends are already talking about coming back here when the weather is warmer we can have dinner outside under the balcony. Also, there is a lot of space for parking as well. The only downside is finding the place. My gps took me in circles three times before noticed the place. Overall, I definitely recommend this restaurant for families, birthday dinners, are just somewhere nice to eat in general.

This was my first time at this restaurant. All I can say is do your self a favor and GO as soon as you can. The service was excellent; the food was superb; and know that they outsource from local areas is a plus. My husband and I will definitely be back. FYI, the tenderloin was so tender, you didn’t really need a knife!

The noise level was rather loud, but it was Valentine Day. The food was delicious. Will definitely be returning.
