Lexi was phenomenal, the food was Elicious, & the entire staff was incredibly accommodating despite the fact that we were running behind to our reservation. Definitely a highlight of our team’s trip to the greater St. Louis area. Oh also you have to try the fried catfish, as it’s some of the best I’ve ever had! Colin W. (Go Cori! 💜 )

It was so easy to make reservations. We were greeted with a warm welcome and seated immediately! Our server was amazing and the food was superb! I can’t wait to take out of town guest there for breakfast! It’s one of St. Louis’s hidden jewels!!

Great staff! Met the owner, too - great to see him working shoulder to shoulder with the team and interacting with guests. Food exceeded our expectations.

Great location. The parking was tight but several areas for overflow. On Saturday there was a DJ playing R&B which my party enjoyed. I'm vegan so there are NO options. However, for others in my party several choices. My mom enjoyed the fried catfish; my daughter had the fried chicken cooked crispy as she likes. May I suggest - have at least avocado toast option for the vegans! We needed napkins and the waitstaff was very responsive. I made reservations 1-2 days prior. Be sure to make reservation to avoid a prolonged wait time!!!

So where do I begin ! The restaurant it self was a good experience. It took an hour and a half to get our food. It was Sunday so we understood, everything was going fine until we walked out after paying for our food we discovered our car was stolen out of the parking lot. What is disappointing about this is they have outside security standing outside along with a decoy police car. I asked the he owner Johnnie what was the security guard their for he stated and I quote “ They not watching the cars” that was crazy because that’s all out in the parking lot! Cars . I don’t recommend risking your life or the possibility of your cars being stolen or vandalized at this restaurant. The most disappointing thing of it all is the food and ambiance was good but it came with a huge price for us! The owner didn’t even volunteer to refund us for our meals. I had family with me that was visiting and their luggage was stolen with the car. This was just a disappointing situation, and we will never patronize Elicious again
