First time eating at Elia. If you've had good Spanish tortilla and patatas bravas elsewhere, don't bother ordering them here. They were awful. Tortilla tasted only of pepper, there was no browning of the potato cake at all. The patatas bravas were not cooked through, crispy outside, or fluffy inside. The spicy red sauce that accents patatas bravas was terrible. Not creamy or tasty, just oily. They have a lot of high ratings, so I hope that some of their other dishes are worth eating. Service was fine--pleasant and attentive, the physical space is lovely.

We stopped here for a nice date on a much longer trip. The decor was nice, and the live piano was an added bonus. There was a wedding rehearsal in a split-off room, but with open ceiling, it could get noisy at times. Our waiter was good although could have checked in a little more often. The food was great, although I felt it was a little light on seasoning. We tried 6 different tapas and found the croquettes to be our favorite although none were bad. Was it the best of any of the dishes I've had, no. However, overall, the food was well done, and I felt the pricing was spot on for what we received. We've already recommended it to some Aggie friends who are in that area more often, and we may just stop back in if it makes sense in our travels and timing.

We celebrated our 48th anniversary last night at Elia. It was our first time there but won't be the last. We shared an assortment of tapas starting with the charcuterie board and the garlic soup. We also had the shrimp, calamari and the bacon-wrapped dates (my favorite.) Every item was extremely flavorful and perfectly prepared. We'll have to go back and try some of the other tapas that sounded equally delicious. But the ones we shared were quite filling. There was an outstanding pianist who provided just the right level of background music. Overall, a very nice evening.

Wow!!! I rarely ever leave reviews but had to because Elias is truly a gem. It is my new favorite go-to restaurant! I had the Salmon BLT for lunch with the potato side. It sounded weird to me but it was recommended so I went out on a limb. I loved it!!!!! I can't wait to try the quesadilla ...heard that was another fave and the chicken Caesar. The flavors and sauces were delectable. My grandma had Shrimp with angel hair and she was delighted as well. Their fig house Old Fashioned was also a big hit! Thank you for making it a special visit for us. We enjoyed reading about some of your family history and the back story that led to this opening. I can only imagine how touched Elia would be about a restaurant designed and dedicated to her. Super special :)

We celebrated our mother’s birthday at Elia on a Sunday. The service was attentive without being overly so. Our waiter made some great suggestions that turned out to be well-enjoyed choices. While the lunch menu doesn’t mention it, they do offer the Tapas menu from the dinner menu during lunch. This was a relief as we selected this restaurant for the Tapas selection on the menu posted on OpenTable and didn’t realize it was only a dinner menu. Try it all! It’s all delicious! Especially the empanadas, shrimp and meatballs. Outstanding! And the Basque cheesecake is worth the calories. Bryan was a halfway spot for our family to meet for lunch to celebrate. Elia will now be our go to spot to make a regular lunch date for the family. We highly recommend this lovely establishment.
