Elevator has been open at 161 North High Street for over twenty years but did you know that the building has played host to great food and cold drinks since it was finished in 1897? Today, we uphold the history and craftsmanship of the space reflected in our fresh, seasonal menu and our expansive beverage program, which includes not only beers brewed on-site but in house made draft cocktails and sodas.

Very eclectic inside. Great menu selections. Our meals were delicious. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Will definitely dine there again when visiting Columbus.

Took our 14 yr old granddaughter because we wanted her to experience cooking her own meat. She loved it! Food and service was great!

The food was delicious. I fell I love with the almond crusted chicken salad. The ginger beer was wonderful. Our server was fantastic. He was friendly, professional, prompt and attentive to our whole group. We had a small celebration, and we made the right decision to come to the Elevator. I know I will be coming back soon.

We loved it! The food and drinks were fantastic. The service was superior. The staff were all very friendly and kind. We will return!

Food was disappointing. Steak was overcooked. Stone steak had little or no seasoning. And the sauces were just ok. The house side salad was just terrible. It had no taste or flavor raw red onions and blue cheese with basically no dressing. The bread also just didn't wow me. We won't be going back

The venue is beautiful and our service was outstanding however the food was not very good and I’m not eager to come back. I got the special “Chicken Marsala” and the potatoes were dry and so was the chicken; there was hardly any gravy on the chicken and that is the best part of that dish. Highly disappointed and wish we had gone somewhere else. I got a pomegranate martini and it was not even a full pour. Oh well. . .

Nothing on the menu is bad. Ive eaten here many times before, typically for lunch, when service was quicker. Luckily we weren't in a rush.

Great food and service. Tried the delicious cauliflower appetizer and sauerkraut balls. Our party of six all were happy with their meals. The salmon dish was terrific. The chicken and salad was yummy, and the steak medallions were tender and tasty!
