Elevator has been open at 161 North High Street for over twenty years but did you know that the building has played host to great food and cold drinks since it was finished in 1897? Today, we uphold the history and craftsmanship of the space reflected in our fresh, seasonal menu and our expansive beverage program, which includes not only beers brewed on-site but in house made draft cocktails and sodas.

I love the Elevator I’ve been there quite a few times and it’s always good, if not great! Was in there last nite with a group of six, so not the easiest table. Best service I have had in 10 yrs. Seriously. Excellent. Wish I would have caught the guy’s name, b/c I’d sent this directly rather than via yelp!

Came to Columbus from Cincy for a show and dined here. Food was terrific and service was wonderful. Great old building preserving lots of original features. Will definitely be back!

We got to our table at reservation time. Waiter came immediately to see our needs. Don't know his name as he was very busy waiting several tables. He did a good job. Didn't go over and beyond with recommendations or anything. Food was good but on some items the food was very very small portions. Other portions were great prices and a good value. Crab cakes were fishy tasting. Mushroom stuffed with crab was smaller than a dime each. There were 4 of them. Overpriced and not worth the taste. Enjoyed filet medalions and calamari. I would go back on resteraunt week or other specials. Beer was good. Mixed drinks overpriced.

Loved Elevator Brewing! The setting was so great, wait staff very attentive and the food terrific!! I will go back the next time I'm in Columbus, OH!

Second time here. We love the steak on a stone. We will definitely dine again next trip to Columbus.

My husband and I I both had the filet medallions, cooked perfectly. They were delicious! Service was also good. We were there for about an hour overall (we had a reservation). Our only complaint is the foul-mouthed customer at the bar that thought everyone around her needed to hear what she had to say. But that’s not the restaurant’s fault, and she left about half way through our meal. We’ll be back for sure!

The food and drinks were poorly made. We expected great things because of how cool the space was. However, each of the food items we ordered were like a 3/10 and the drinks were the same. The red ale, one of my favorite types of beer, was awful. Too expensive for the food to be below average quality.

Arrived promptly for a 530 reservation and were seated immediately. That’s when the wheels fell off. We waited 15 mins before our waiter ever made it to the table. Filet medallions were overcooked swimming in Demi glaze. Beef short ribs were small and extremely fatty. Sadly wasn’t impressed.
