Elevator has been open at 161 North High Street for over twenty years but did you know that the building has played host to great food and cold drinks since it was finished in 1897? Today, we uphold the history and craftsmanship of the space reflected in our fresh, seasonal menu and our expansive beverage program, which includes not only beers brewed on-site but in house made draft cocktails and sodas.

We were out very close to the door. This would be fine for a walk in table, but we booked this over a month ago. There was a constant cold draft every time the door opened. We left before even being approached. We mentioned to the host about the table and he didn’t care.

Very cool atmosphere! Food was delicious and well worth the wait! The cocktails were a bit on the boozy side so watch out!

As always, the food was excellent. We had a table of 10 and our server Chicha was fantastic!

Fantastic experience. The crab stuffed manicotti was amazing. Calamari some of the best I’ve ever had. Overall 5 stars.

Our first time here and we went for restaurant week. We had the Arugula Salad, Veal Meatballs(a little on the dry side but had good flavor), Crab Stuffed Manicotti, Filet Medallions, Buckeye Brownie and Root Beer Float. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The inside is gorgeous and the atmosphere for a Saturday night was perfect, not too loud where we couldn’t hear each other. Perfect date night place. Highly recommend coming here!

We came here for restaurant week & we had a wonderful experience…. Cierra, our server was wonderful & the food was great. Such a neat old building…. Drinks also very good.
