Elevation 89 features American Cuisine in a unique atmosphere overlooking the runway and featuring nightly views of spectacular sunsets. The name of the 150-seat restaurant, established in 2021, references the pilot call signal for the Ocala airfield—which is itself based on the airport’s elevation at 89 feet above sea level.

Friendly and attentive staff. Nice menu. Everyone enjoyed their food. More cafeteria style eating. Not much activity on the runway.

Tonight was a little disappointing at our favorite restaurant.! The window table that we requested was unavailable. But, since the restaurant was very busy that was not unexpected. Pirogies as appetizers were superb. Mediterranean Grouper was short on taste. The Short Ribs were dry and did not fall apart. The Banana Foster Cheese Cake was “sticky” bland and had a texture more like pudding. Generally below the standards that we have come to expect.

Service was very good, atmosphere is quaint, pretty once it gets dark outside. Food was average, scallops were good but small for the price. No type of bread or salad with entree. Airline chicken entree was a huge disappointment. It was a small leg quarter (not expected at that price, expected breast meat) was over done with tomato sauce/strew. Balsamic reduction was good but did not pair well with couscous. Pork chop was good. Biggest complaint was my husband ordered Bourbon neat, he was uncharged on each drink for "neat". Never heard of this before. Waitress couldn't explain, said maybe they add more because no ice? That would be logical but should be explained somewhere. Also they automatically include a credit card fee on the bill. Nice place, may try again for more price friendly lunch items.

Such a nice surprise. Informal. Great cocktails. The food was so good. We shared the lobster spring rolls and crab cakes. Then the halibut and beef Wellington. Excellent food. Can’t wait to go back!!

What an amazing experience. Our server was beyond awesome (30% tip). Quality of the food was very impressive for the price charged. I will be back many more times!

We have gone to Elevation 89 for many meals. From the Flying Goat burger to the Hogfish catch of the day, each one has been spectacular. Each meal is thoughtfully prepared and presented. Staff is knowledgeable, professional and always there for your needs. Kudos Elevation 89, a great culinary experience..!!

this was a huge surprise in a very good way. Pricing was excellent and quality of food was top-notch. I’ve been to five star dining restaurants where the food was nowhere near as good as this, and the service was on par with some of the finest restaurants in America.
