From Nick Mathers' Wish You Were Here Group, Élephante Scottsdale channels the spirit and cuisine of coastal southern Italy. Inspired by travels to Pantelleria and the Aeolian Islands, Élephante transports guests to the Italian Coast through thoughtfully designed spaces and seasonal menus.

The food was phenomenal. Absolutely delicious. The service though, sucked. They probably didn't care as a party of 8 because auto gratuity is put on party's of 6 or more. We were always waiting for drinks. The music is also so loud. You're constantly yelling and it was hot as hell in there. Will definitely go back for food though. I'm hopeful the service would be better with tables of less people.

We enjoyed our “friends” lunch and the serving staff is excellent, friendly and accommodating. The favorite appetizer heading to almost every table was the whipped eggplant with the fabulous puffy bread. It was delicious. The arugula and pear salad was fresh, large and good, and thank you for not candying the walnuts. The insalata verde was very good. The tuna tartare app was smaller than my friend expected so not a substitute for a small entree or salad. I was disappointed I could not have the gemeli scampi because they would not sub the squid ink pasta for any pasta other than gluten free. I’m sorry I’m just not an ink pasta fan. My spouse and I will return to try out the pizza and Cacio e Pepe and sit at the bar! A nice addition to the area.

2nd time going to this location and I’ve been impressed with the service both times. The waitress last night offered us a free dessert as an apology for a long wait for our pastas. Super nice gesture especially bc I wasn’t even upset at the wait time!! Staff was attentive and the food was so good. The garlic butter spinach was super memorable. I’d definitely recommend.

Started out great with our favorite eggplant dip. Unfortunately, the noise level was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other speak or our waitress.. then we ordered a salad and two pastas. Our waitress was very accommodating, making sure we could add lobster to one of our pastas. Unfortunately, my pasta was overcooked, but the sauce was delicious. It was not the traditional +30 for the lobster. It was a whole half of lobster my husband‘s pasta was OK not amazing but the biggest disappointment was the salad that was More dressing than lettuce.

Was super excited to try the highly anticipated elephante open in Scottsdale! Unfortunately it was quite JUST OK, I definitely don’t feel the need to rush back any time soon. Ambiance: very pretty and good vibes but so dark and loud. I went on a Monday night and I could hardly hear the people across the table. Food: the server was raving about the favorites so we tried all of them. Honestly nothing blew me away except for the chocolate cake desert! The vodka pasta was such a let down, extremely dry and flavorless with chunks of garlic… I’ve had WAY better for half of the price. Value: this is place is INCREDIBLY overpriced… as expected given its in fashion square. It was over $100 per person at our table and I left still hungry/unsatisfied. For what we paid, I’d much rather go elsewhere. Service: service was good for the most part. I had to ask for water to be refilled though which is a pet peeve of mine at nice restaurants. We had one weird situation where we told the waiter that the vodka pasta was a let down and very dry… she agreed that it didn’t have much sauce and asked if she could go show the chef… we said sure? Thinking she agreed there was an issue and would fix it with more sauce or a new bowl… but nope, she took our half eaten pasta, showed the chef in the back, and then brought it back to our table…. And didn’t comp the meal. long story short, the restaurant scene is getting so good in PHX/Scottsdale- don’t waste your money here, try somewhere else!

If you are planning on having dinner- do not sit at a high top. It has no room for 2 people to enjoy several plates at one serving. The swivel chairs are uncomfortable because they do not stop moving. They are fine for a quick drink but that is it. Fortunately we were able to move to a regular 2top table. I am all for ambiance but the lights were dimmed during our dinner and it was too dark. The restaurant does not have an outdoor sign - took a few extra minutes to locate the restaurant.

Great space, food and service. Tables are very close and restaurant has a high noise level, good vibe but hard to have a conversation. A lot of great things to try on the menu and prices are not overly inflated. Will be back.

Great food and great ambience! We had a waitress in training, she did a great job, was super friendly and made sure we were well taken care of!
