Me and my best friend Genevieve had a really excellent experience. We got the table next to the sunset that we wanted and that made us really happy! And the cocktails were fantastic !!

The hostess downstairs was rude and condescending, despite us having a reservation and being early for our reservation with our kids. Truly unfortunate because we like the food here. Luckily the staff upstairs were great and made for a pleasant experience. Please train all staff to be polite to customers.

The food here is so delicious! We ordered a few dishes to share between three of us which was perfect. The ambience was great, they had a dj that was playing good house music. It was overall a great time!

Pretentious place. Especially the women at the hostess stand. We did not have a reservation and we’re told to wait to see if we could get in. While we were standing at the bar waiting, I simply made a reservation on OpenTable and went back to the hostess stand and was sat shortly there after. The food was great. Waiter was really great. Too loud for a decent conversation.

The food and atmosphere were incredible. I wish our server was a bit more friendly and informative with the menu. Such as, there were items no longer available or we could order the bread separately. These things would have been nice to know prior to ordering.

Review for Elephannte: 3 Stars I recently dined at Elephannte to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and while the food was delicious, our experience was marred by our server's attitude. We had a 5:30 reservation, and the initial atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The hostess even kindly wished my daughter a happy birthday, which was a lovely touch. Unfortunately, that friendliness didn't carry over when we sat down and met our waiter. After a lengthy wait for him to greet us, he approached the table without any pleasantries. He immediately asked for our entire order instead of starting with drink options or explaining the menu. It felt like he was more interested in getting us in and out quickly rather than providing a pleasant dining experience. Once the food arrived, we didn’t see him again. He never checked in to see how we were enjoying our meals or if we wanted another drink. In fact, it was another staff member who delivered our check, and we didn’t have the chance to interact with our waiter again after that initial encounter. I couldn’t help but wonder if our well-behaved children prompted a judgment that led to this lackluster service. My family enjoys dining out, and my children can handle a variety of settings. Typically, my husband and I like to order drinks and tip generously, but it was clear we weren't made to feel welcome on this occasion. We only had one drink since we weren’t asked about refills, and we decided to leave after our meal, feeling somewhat dismissed. Overall, while Elephannte has the potential to shine with its tasty food, the service we experienced left much to be desired. It’s disappointing to see a hip establishment overlook the importance of customer service, especially when celebrating special occasions. Here’s hoping they can improve their service to match the quality of the food in the future.
