Channeling the spirit and cuisine of coastal southern Italy, Élephante aims to transport guests from Los Angeles to the Southern Mediterranean with stunning ocean views and dramatic sunsets, all whilst staying in the heart of Santa Monica.

Three bars on the property offer a variety of delicious, hand-crafted cocktails, as well as an extensive wine list. Élephante Beach House is full of custom furniture and design touches that surround the guests with natural wood and stone, copper finishes and design pieces from Northern Africa and Southern Italy.

With stunning ocean views and dramatic sunsets, guests are reminded of favorite summer vacations past, where a tranquil afternoon drink can turn into a memorable dinner or a late-night dance.

Please note for parties up to 4 guests will have the tables for an hour and half. Parties larger than 4 guest you will have the table for up to two hours.

Join us at Élephante on Monday, July 29th at 7pm for stunning sunset views and an impressive family style 5-course meal inspired by the Italian Coast. Accompanied by a unique playlist of global rhythms from across continents, every bite becomes a symphony of flavors. Created by Chef Thomas Lim & executed by Chef Matthew Walker. The signature Élephante cocktail with your choice of spirit is included in the experience. Our signature wine pairing and reserve wine pairing can be added. Our full beverage menu will also be available for purchase at the venue.

    The hostesses were extremely rude, giving my family dirty looks the entire time. Made us wait 30 minutes after our reservation time and kept letting other parties, groups of 2/5/6/7, ahead of us. They sat us (group of 6) on a table that only fit 5 people. We specifically asked to sit anywhere but the bar area on the top floor and that's where they placed us. The waiter was great. I didn't get his name but we really appreciate his service. It seemed like he was the only person there who didn't have a problem with Muslims. The way everyone else treated us was very low and obvious.

    Had a wonderful dinner at elephante. The ambiance is absolutely incredible.. classic California experience on a second floor rooftop. The food was good.. had the olives, tuna tartare, Tuscan Kale salad, meatballs and the Vodka pasta. The Tuna was a real highlight… pasta was great and spicy too. The cocktails were just okay, not worth the cash but can’t complain. The biggest downside for us was where we were seated, and that hampered our experience. We were seated right next to the bar and had to listen to constant drink shaking and servers talking to one another. Had we been seated elsewhere in the dining room, esp by the railing to see the sunset, this would’ve been an even better experience!

    Delicious and a great atmosphere! Seems to be the place for the 20-30 something crowd. Brought our family of four (2 tweens)and no one make us feel out of place. Definitely recommend

    It’s my second time at Elefante. The experience was a lot better. The noise level (music playing, )has come down a bit, which is great.

    Loved everyone that served me yesterday! From the lady at the front entrance checking the reservations, the guy checking IDs, the upstairs staff at the desk, the bartenders at the bar, the waitstaff, servers and waitress. All exceptional!!

    I booked only a few days in advance, and we got into a table right on the deck, which is what I had hoped for. This was the first time my friend had been to Elephante, and she was thrilled. Seeing the punchbowl being delivered to another table was a big surprise, and I got some great photos to send to my friends, with permission from the small group sitting at the lower tables in front of the bar.

    Whipped eggplant was a must! Lola was an attentive and helpful server. Overall, very much recommend!
