Channeling the spirit and cuisine of coastal southern Italy, Élephante aims to transport guests from Los Angeles to the Southern Mediterranean with stunning ocean views and dramatic sunsets, all whilst staying in the heart of Santa Monica.

Three bars on the property offer a variety of delicious, hand-crafted cocktails, as well as an extensive wine list. Élephante Beach House is full of custom furniture and design touches that surround the guests with natural wood and stone, copper finishes, and design pieces from Northern Africa and Southern Italy. We also offer lounge seating for larger table sizes, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the ambiance in comfort.

**PLEASE NOTE:**
For parties up to 4 guests will have the tables for an hour and half. Parties larger than 4 guest you will have the table for up to two hours.

Very poor experience with host staff and accommodations. First the elevator was out of service with no notice to patrons with reservations. We were not told until we showed up and a member of our party with neurologic injury was forced to take the stairs 3 flights or forefeit our deposit and reservation. Then we were left standing at the host stand for 10minutes despite arriving on time and with many hosts standing around and wide open tables. We had a reservation in the sunset room and were seated at a low cocktail table with sofas despite the entire restaurant being wide open. We asked for different table accommodations multiple times and were told if we were to sit at a normal table we would only have one hour to eat and leave. The entire restaurant remained mostly empty for the 2 hours we sat in the back at a coffee table hunched over in the back while 90% of the tables were wide open and unobstructed. Extremely disappointed we had asked for accommodations multiple times to match our reservation and staff did nothing and the restaurant remained completely available.

Patronized this restaurant before and had no issues. Today was a special occasion “Birthday”. It was so very disappointing. The food was good the service on the other hand was unacceptable. Meals served at different times… eggs just warm. Hard to stir coffee with a fork & trying to have a second cup was hard work! Trying to flag down anyone was a task in itself. I needed to ice my shoulder and arm!

My wife and I sent here for our wedding anniversary. Loved the food especially the whipped eggplant, vodka pasta, AND Cacio E Pepe! The desert room was a little loud and it was a little difficult to converse, however, we still had a great time! We will come back again with more people! Thank you, Élephante for making our anniversary special!

All the hype and well worth it!! Eggplant was Amazing!!!! Our server Nick was delightful. Cocktail are on point. Great service and food!! 👍🏼👍🏼

Dinner for 3 x persons Food and service was on fleek - we had the octopus salad to start - super fresh - and tasty - octopus can be hit and miss but this one was definitely a hit, also big enough to share; spaghetti vongole - better than the one I had in Italy this summer - in fact best one I have had ever - branzino - this whole fish was to die for - light but flavorful - roasted mushroom pizza (we added Italian sausage) - also very tasty - would probably ask for it be cooked well done as the pizza dough was a little doughy but that’s just my preference - broccolini - probably my least favorite dish - for desert we had the chocolate torte - rich and decadent and 2 x affogato (espresso, vanilla ice cream and caramel)…never had it with the caramel - was a nice touch - wanted to eat another one of these - sooo good - add 2 cocktails. Surprisingly our bill was approx $230 ..I was expecting it to be more - great value for money It is a little loud and the crowd is young - dress up a little for this place - smart casual at the very least and enjoy! Bon Apetit

Came here for my bday dinner and the waiter took 20 mins to come to us and only checked on us once. Sat in a rlly bad location with no attentiveness of service staff

Fantastic food and service. This place never lets down. This is my 4th visit and have loved it more each time Vibrant, and fun - be sure to try some cocktails and a mix of food
