Food quality pretty poor - Appetizers were Ok but main courses not at all good. Avoid the Sunday roast with a barge pole Service was abysmal - no where near enough staff to run the restaurant and server obviously unhappy at working in the restaurant.

Loved the interior and overall feel of the restaurant but we were sat next to a huge group in the corner and they were so incredibly loud that we could not even hear each other talk. We asked the server if we could be moved and they would not oblige even though there were open tables. Honestly it ruined the entire evening and we couldn’t wait to get out. Our server even noticed how loud it was as he couldn’t hear us order and had to come back to get our order again because he feared he misheard. Only positive was that our server was nice and the fried pickles were good.

Made reservations before a play. They were accommodating and welcoming when we arrived. It was a busy place with a lot of Green Bay Packer fans in town for a game. Go Hawks! Those fans were pretty loud making this a different experience than my first time here. It was loud, but it is a pub, so that’s not unexpected. We shared a fish and chips for dinner and the bread pudding for dessert. The fish and chips were crispy and delicious. The Bread pudding had a wonderful consistency and fantastic flavor; highly recommend it! Again, it’s a pub, so it’s pub food, but my husband wished they had a few more vegetarian or pescatarian options. Our server was great. Not at the table too much and wasn’t absent, made great recommendations, and had a friendly attitude. We’ll be back again.

We love eating here before attending a play at the Paramount theatre. Our only complaint is that the entire place is incredibly LOUD. The music is loud, so it seems that everyone is having to talk louder to be heard above the music. Yelling at your dining partner to carry on a conversation is really not a pleasant experience. I get it that the E & C is a bar, but maybe turn down the music a little.

Great option for pre-show dinner. Fast service, great cocktails and food, and minutes from the parking garages suggested for the Act and 5th Ave Theaters.

Interesting. We’re seated downstairs in the “sports room”…TVs, pool table, etc. food was good. Loved the Brussel Sprouts. I had the beef and mushroom pie. It had a different flavor. As I thought about it, could it have been green peppers? Dunno. My friend had the daily special and it disappeared quickly. Must have been good.

Service is efficient, polite and open to answering questions about the menu. The menu is diverse and has a great selection for children. We plan to have lunch there before we go to the 5th avenue theater.
