Our Rathmines Elephant & Castle has become a staple venue over the last two years, right in the heart of Rathmines Village. The signature white facade from Temple Bar has been replicated, bringing new life to this previously quiet corner of Rathmines village. being the second location of the E&C family we have served over thousands of many happy guests. Service, great food and comfortable dining experience is our number one priority.

The menu will feature the same great dishes that make Elephant & Castle a firm favourite. From the fluffy omelettes, and juicy burgers, and, of course, those crispy, spicy wings. We’re focusing on friendly, laid-back service; tasty as ever food and a relaxed atmosphere - everything Elephant & Castle lovers have come to expect from a visit to our place. The 110-seater restaurant is spacious and bright, with large windows looking out onto buzzing Rathmines. Comfy booths and oak clad walls with black and white images from E&C’s native New York City.

We ordered Cheddar and Buffalo Mozzarella Burgers which were excellent but the fries were disappointing, mostly overdone and hard to eat . We will come back tho , service and atmosphere really nice

The servers were very attentive without being intrusive or overbearing. Food was great, with quick service. Well worth the tip.

very friendly and helpful staff but the wait for our food was long, and when it finally came, the food was just okay. Good service, but the long wait and average food were a bit disappointing.

We had an amazing experience at Elephant and Castle in Rathmines and will definitely be back. We started with the wings to share and they are a must have when dining here, they have the perfect amount of spice over delicious crispy wings. I went for the Moule Frites for mains and I was only devastated when I ran out of Mussles and chips to dip into that sauce! I was so full but managed to fit in sticky toffee pudding and it was worth every bite. I would advise the Sauvignon Blanc which matched really complemented the meal. It was the perfect 3 course meal and I couldn't recommend it enough. The atmosphere was ideal lively but you could still relax and enjoy a conversation. The only slight downside was we kept asking for things like water and for other drinks and were left waiting a long time ( and we needed water with the wings!) Another waitress took over and was great, the main guy who seemed to be the manager was also really friendly and accomodating. I wouldn't hold something like that against them on a busy Satuday evening though and will definitely make another visit soon.

I recently attended elephant and Castle located in rathmines with friends . The service from my waiter Marcus and the manager Francisco was top notch and catered so well to our needs. We all will highly recommend elephant and Castle to our family and friends. Kind Regards Gary

Took like 40 minutes to pay for my food which is shocking, and the the restaurant wasn’t even busy at all so there was no excuse

Our food was up to the usual high standard we've come to expect here. The staff as always were friendly and helpful. Our only wrinkle on this visit was our food took 30 minutes to arrive and it wasn't obvious why. We didn't have starters and went straight for main courses. The restaurant was really quiet at the time (we sat down somewhere between 3:15 - 3:30 pm). I could see the kitchen hatch from my seat and, as far as I could tell, no food emerged from the kitchen in the period we were waiting. I was on the cusp of catching someone's attention to ask where our food was when it was brought down. Apart from that, great.
