Welcome to Elena's -- a place where a family’s love for authentic Mexican food is celebrated and combined with California-inspired elements and signature Mexican-American dishes. We offer reservations for up to 8 guests via OpenTable. At the time of your reservation, we kindly request the entire party be present to be seated. Tables will be held for up to 10 minutes after the reservation time. For parties that arrive later, the table will be released but we will do our best to accommodate the reservation with the next available table. Reservation requests via phone or email are not available at this time. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you to Elena’s!

    The maître de was a pain in the butt! She began our interaction with her by explaining we had to be out of our table in an hour and a half. I’ve never been greeted that way at a restaurant and it’s not the experience one wants! Even with the slow service on a Sunday night, we were out in an hour and 15 without rushing. That mitre de should be fired!

    Good food, fresh ingredients, but overpriced and was overcharged for both of our enchilada combo plates so check your bill. We were charged $33 for each enchilada combo plate when the menu showed enchilada combo plate for $28. No apology for the mistake either and had to go back and forth on the bill as they made the same mistake not once, but twice. It wasn't the waiter's fault for the overcharge. The waiter did however mistakenly place one enchilada combo plate order into the kitchen instead of two so I had to wait longer for my food, but that was an honest mistake so wasn't a big deal to me. The waiter also wanted to help us box our food, but that wasn't ideal as my mom and I ordered the exact same thing and had similar leftovers so was worried I had the wrong box of leftovers, but hopefully it's correct. I don't expect a waiter to box my leftovers unless it's a 3-Star Michelin restaurant, but understand he may view it as trying to offer better service. Water, salsa and chip refills were fine. Tables are too close to each other too. I had to listen to the annoying conversation of four abnoxiously loud people seated next to us as we were seated in the row of tables, so round booths are probably better for seating. There are better Mexican food places in the city at lower prices. Not worth the hype with the bad service (overcharging is where the service was really disappointing), overpriced food and ambience (too noisy and table seating too close). No plans to return.

    Great food & service, will be back. Everyone enjoyed their food & cocktails, even comped us an app for a small delay on seating.

    I had a reservation at 515 for 3 people at Elena's , family from out of town. As soon as we were going to be seated we were told that they booked back to back reservations and that we needed to be finished by 6:45. And we were constantly reminded throughout our meal. It really put a damper on our evening. The party seated next to us were also having issues with the constant reminder and they brought a cake to celebrate a birthday. They were visibly upset. Not sure how I feel about the restaurant yet, I hope they fix the issues . Because it's an expensive place to eat. You want to get your monies worth.

    Michelle was our server and bartender and she IS AWESOME!! Totally made our night better across the board.

    Stevie’s attentive and friendly service was just lovely. We never felt rushed. Barbara’s margaritas were divine, and every bite of our food was delicious. This is a neighborhood gem that I keep coming back to.
