I found this restaurant on OpenTable and was excited to indulge in Mediterranean cuisine that I thought looked very appetizing from the reviews. I set my reservation for the Valentine's day special, which is an assortment of different appetizers followed by the main dishes and dessert. After arriving at 8pm, I could not help but notice that other tables were being served far faster and with far better service than our table. Alas, I gave our server patience and grace. This was the case for about 1 1/2 hours. By then, the tables were clearing out, the restaurant was about to close, and we had not even been served our first round of drinks, while others tables sat more than an hour after us were ordering dessert and paying their bills. I have never, ever complained or have said something about the service of a restaurant until now. My girlfriend and I's Valentine's day was ruined because we were simply never served the food that I was going to pay a premium for. The drinks were subpar for the price, and I bet the food was good. If I ever was given any. We had to walk out on our table because the 9:15 reservation that sat beside us two tables down were served before us, when we sat down at 8pm. What a flop for Valentine's day.

Arrived to be told our reservation was cancelled because we did not respond to the text reminder. Never received a call or any other form of communication between the restaurant. Was informed we can either sit outside or wait/come back hours later. Got a cancelled reservation email from OpenTable 3 hours later. Called Elena’s the following day to try and figure out where the confusion was to be told from the manager that they would not have cancelled the reservation for failure to respond to the email, which is definitely not what the hostess informed me of. Avoid going, seem disorganized and unprofessional.

It was okay. Went for Valentine’s Day so they had a pre-planned set of dishes for us. They brought them out of order, the meat was overcooked, and the wait staff seemed understaffed that day because it took forever to get what we needed. Ambience was nice, live music was great. Just unimpressed with the food and service for that price.

Service was excellent. The food was so good. They had a prix fixe Valentines dinner and we got a bunch of food for what we paid. We will definitely come back again.

We enjoyed the olives and cheese to begin. We also enjoyed the vegetarian plate. Our server Noah did an outstanding job. He is extremely nice and helpful and makes customers wish to return.
