Chef Eric, a Spruce Pine, NC, native and a fixture on Asheville’s local food scene for over 15 years, brings his signature culinary talents as well as his love of seasonal, Appalachian, and heritage-raised ingredients to every dish on the menu.

Our light-filled & airy North Asheville restaurant features new American cuisine that focuses on an ingredients-driven menu, natural wine, craft coffee & cocktails.

Lunch: Wednesday-Friday 11am-4pm
Dinner: Wednesday-Sunday 5pm-9pm
Brunch: Saturday & Sunday ONLY 9am-2:30pm
Pizza Night: Monday 3pm-the dough runs out!

    New Asheville residents and while we go to the grove park inn regularly never knew this area existed. Burger was 100%. Beet pizza was great as well. Crust. Chef clearly knows how to use the pizza oven … the crust was perfect and the combinations on the pizza it self were interesting. Wine by the glass options, especially the whites, were a bit limited. All in, 100% return to spot

    Fantastic restaurant! Farm to table, great selection of entrees and extensive bar selection. Our server was amazing, unfortunately forgot to get her name. Can’t wait to go back next time we are in Asheville.

    Food, drink, and ambience was excellent. (The focaccia bread and butter was amazing) Our server was awesome and incredibly personable. We weren’t from Asheville, but if we ever travel back there, ELDR will definitely be a consideration!

    Delicious food, although somewhat expensive. Very inventive use of ingredients to add interesting twists to several dishes. A few more moderate entrees would be nice, perhaps more plant based.

    Jade took excellent care of us last night. My husband and I split the focaccia which was to die for. I had the venison loin which was delicious and my husband had the burger which he said was the best he’s ever had. Go to this restaurant.

    Great ambience, food and service. I had the shrimp and grits for brunch and a mimosa and my friend had a salad. All food was great, I would say the shrimp and grits portion could be a just a bit bigger.

    We had a delightful lunch in the charming courtyard. Our waiter was went the extra mile for us. Look forward to the next time @ ELDR.

    I love ELDR and continue to recommend it. My visit this week was lovely and the shrimp and grits was an outstanding dish. My reason for not giving 5 stars in all categories is that the portions were tiny. The dish arrived and looked beautiful but when I lowered my fork into the grits the fork connected with the plate immediately (ting!). I expected more depth and more than 4 shrimp. The grits appeared to be smeared across the plate - artfully so - but such a shallow helping. I was hungry again less than 2 hours later.
