El Vino Crudo is a wine bar and restaurant located in the heart of Old San Juan - la Calle Fortaleza. We are nestled in a building from the 1700s, displaying the timeless aura old world charm. El Vino Crudo imports quality wines from around the world. The wine we represent is real, from eccentric to laser focused and refined, always sourced from growers who follow organic, biodynamic farming and wine making practices.

Our food menu by El Vino Crudo Chef, Beto Resende, offers a rotating selection of dishes with respect to seasonality, availability and when we feel inspired to try new creations. Beto's cooking style is straight to the point, simple with Mediterranean influence.

The atmosphere is fun. The place is well decorated and in good taste. The service was excellent. The waitresses were very professional. However, We thought the menu is too limited. Our portions were small for the price. The place is romantic and we recommend it to young couples.

Such a cool spot. The food was incredible and the wine recommendation was excellent. We had the foccacia, broccoli, tuna and gnocchi. The broccoli was one of the best things I have eaten. And then the olive oil cake and guanabana ice cream put it all over the top. Loved it!

Fantastic experience! The dishes are stunningly presented—each plate a work of art, bursting with fresh, vibrant colors that elevate the dining experience. While everything was exceptional, adding a bit more lighting would truly allow guests to fully appreciate the exquisite beauty of these creations. The recommended wine was a 10/10. Highly recommend!

Perfect ambiance! The architecture, artwork, lighting and music all set the mood. Noemi, our server, was friendly and attentive. Great wine selection…either by glass or bottle. The food was amazing…small seasonal menu with variety of choices. (Braised pork fall apart tender…OMG) Definitely take the time to visit!

Food was “tasty.” Quoted because proportions are super small and very, very limited choices. Wine was good but choice of only 3 cocktails. Wife did not like any choices so had water. We ate three things; they thought it was enough for us and asked if we wanted dessert. Dessert?!? We took an uber to get dinner after as we were starving. The table was so small we could not fit two glasses and two plates. Sorry, we’ve seen prior reviews, but this was the ONe bad night of Open Table recommendations in San Juan.
