Was there to celebrate my 62nd birthday. I arrived before my family, and the second I walked in I felt welcomed! I was greeted by two young ladies with excellent hospitality, and beautiful smiles. Our waiter Juan was amazing! He truly was the highlight of our visit. If I could have tipped him a thousand dollars I would have! He was patient, checked on us multiple times, had a great personality & smile, and he catered to our few needs. The food was good. I wish there were more to choose from. The Mexican food items were delicious! Everything was fresh and plentiful. The only problem I truly had was the eggs. Not sure why plain scrambled eggs were not a part of the buffet! Some children, my grandchildren, wanted plain scrambled eggs. All in all, being with my family was the blessing of the day, and I got that.

Service for brunch was excellent. Food selection is good. It was hot in the restaurant with no fans so it was a little uncomfortable from 10am-noon. I was seated right at my reservation time.

What happened to this place? Hadn’t been in years, but last time I came it seemed the food experience was on a higher level. The Chips had the taste of having been fried in old oil. The salsa was salted too much. It was so salty that I couldn’t continue eating it. Chicken in the enchiladas seemed like canned chicken. Refried beans tasted sweet? The server was attentive but service overall was slow and the restaurant wasn’t that full for a Friday night. Wont be back.

We waited for over 15 minutes for the server to bring menus. She finally did after asking if we wanted anything else. I said, we have not even seen the menu yet. She took the order and a few minutes later said she would return in 30 minutes because she was taking a break. Someone else would bring our food. When she returned about 40 minutes later she asked how everything was. We had NOT received our food. I let her know, she said the kitchen was backed up. When she brought the food, it was not even warm. It had obviously been sitting somewhere for the entire time she was on her break. We asked for the manager who said they would remake the food. It was only satisfactory. There were 6 of us celebrating an 83rd birthday. We will not go there again.

Overall, it was a good experience. Some hot dishes were cold. It got a bit overcrowded, but the choices were plentiful. The service was very good. We made reservations, so the wait wasn't too bad.
