Service was horrible. The fajitas came , had to remind the waitress to bring plates and tortillas. By the time items were brought, the food was cold ….the drinks were not accurate either, had to replace one and the second one we just kept because of the hassle … I had my parents with me and we were out of towners …

Food was decent, chips and salsa are served pretty fast, dessert menu was horrible. Fried ice cream was covered in stale cornflakes and banana chimi was not anything great either. Service was poor because never got offered a refill on drinks. Always left before we can say anything about the drinks. I don’t think I will go out of my way to come back here.

Great place for Sunday Brunch. Nice water/boat views and the food and staff are great.

the restaurant is old and dated. Its needs a little bit of a renovation The chips they served tasted like they used old oil to cook them. They were bitter and a little rancid tasting. The fajitas were pretty good but the beef they used was a little tough and chewy The location at the The Fishermans Village is still pretty fun to walk around and see so for that it was worth it to me. Parking was reasonable and easy All in all it was OK. I would recommend it Thank you

Server was not attentive. We ordered wings and they brought us 8 when the menu says 10. Initially he was annoyed when we asked for our other 2 wings. We went to happy hour to relax but instead were surrounded by several screaming babies in the bar area. We had to wait an extremely long time to receive chips and salsa as everyone around us that came after us received it promptly. I asked for water and he made me until after he helped 3 other tables eventhough I ordered first. Not a good experience as we come all the time.

Truly awful experience. It took 15 minutes for anyone to come to our table after we were sat. We ordered margaritas, which they forgot to put in, so that took another 20 minutes and when they finally came, they were so sweet and weak. Tableside guacamole had no salt, they sent the wrong entree, and when the correct one finally came, it was overcooked and tasted awful.

Food was ok. Service was lackluster. Server seemed annoyed every time he came to the table. No friendliness to be found. Margaritas were 5/10. Chips tasted stale. Only thing that saved it was the view of the beautiful marina.

AMBIANCE: always nice, comfortable and clean, great view of the marina. HOWEVER, the noise level was such that we were raising our voices across the table. Knowing this might be an issue, I made an Open Table reservation asking for a window table as far away from the bar or kitchen as possible. We were seated at the window across from the bar! Ambience is one of my top requirements in a restaurant as it can ruin the experience. SERVICE; waitress was excellent. Friendly, available and knowledgeable. :) FOOD: Portions were, as usual, generous which I always appreciate, HOWEVER, the flavor of my cheese and chicken enchiladas and refried beans were almost tasteless. I'm not talking about spicy, I'm saying that is was so BLAND it wasn't at all what I remember going to El Torito for in the past. No flavor. My guest has chicken fajitas and made the same comment. The food used to be a gastronomical delight. This needed extra seasonings that should have been in the food when prepared. PRICE: Reasonable but would have felt better if the food had been tastier. Also, the check had a service charge! I asked about it and was told that the restaurant passes on a charge (by the city?) for the upkeep of that area. Regardless of the reason, that's a cost of doing business and I should not be charged to keep up the neighborhood. I will return one more time and if it's just as noisy or if they ignore my quiet request or if the food continues to be so tasteless, it will be the last time, which is a shame because the ambience and wait staff are so nice. This was a b.d. occasion and they all sang beautifully and delivered a delicious flan (much tastier than our main courses!) and was much appreciated. So someone DID read my request....but the restaurant was just too noisy...at 12:30 in the afternoon. Yes, I would continue to recommend if the food gets tastier (I had to douse it with Pico de Gallo and an extremely PICANTE sauce to give it taste) and if a quiet table request is honored

Food is always great! I visit often and have visited even on holidays like Thanksgiving. Felt like today service was all not there maybe because it has a lot of clients. We didn't get utensils until maybe 10 minutes after we had our food and drinks until we were almost done with our plate.
