Was not expecting this but Sunday is a buffet. Lots of variety and everything was terrific. Our server was delightful and super friendly.

I used to love the fajitas at El Torito but I think they’ve gone downhill a little bit. The steak is not a very good cut and it looks almost boiled rather than cooked on the cast iron. But the location is nice. The service got off to a slow start, but then it was much better as we went along. The food is not as good as you used to be, but since it’s the only one around here that’s still standing I still go there when I want the El Torito experience. I love the Mexican Caesar salad, but I’m not sure if they still have it at this location.

It was pleasant. The servers were friendly, and there was a good ambiance. The manager always welcomed us with a smile.

My family normally loves El Torito, especially the Sunday Buffet Brunches. We no longer live in California; however, we fly into Los Angeles frequently and we always reserve a table for brunch. Unfortunately, our visit on September 22, 2024, was very disappointing: 1. There were swarms of flies at the tables and surrounding the food area; I do not recall if the entrance door was standing open, but I have never seen that happen in the past. 2. Although the food was delicious as always, so many of our favorite dishes were not present, and the choices seemed minimal. 3. The noise level was unbearable; there was a game being viewed in the bar area; although brunch is a crowded event, the combination of constant intense yelling due to the sporting event detracted from our ability to enjoy our meal. 4. Lastly, upon our on time arrival, although our names were clearly listed, the young man at the desk seemed confused and/or unorganized. There were plenty of empy clean table, but he was unable to confirm a table for us. I just went over to an empty table and asked him if he could seat us at that table. We had to ask him multiple times to provide us with a slip to confirm our seating.

My server was horrible. She did not greet with her name and at one point I thought I had two servers. One brought me chips and salsa (a man) then, my “server” brought chips and salsa. She responded very dry with “oh they already brought you chips” and sat my water down. I was there for my bday and wanted to feel good but it wasn’t that great. I never leave reviews but after watching other tables get good service from their servers I felt uncomfortable. Almost singled out. The food was great but the service didn’t match the energy.

Our waiter Raul was very attentive and stayed on top of everything. Cadillac blackberry margaritas were very delicious, and you can't beat the view.

Great experience I think we annoyed are waitress but she ended up be very good. Will go again the price are great and the food was excellent. Tip shelf shots.

Great experience and good food. The margarita flight was tasty and the Vampiro Tacos were great.
