At El Silencio we specialise in Tacos & Margaritas with a dive-bar ambience. The music is loud and the drinks are strong ¡Andale!

Our tacos use gf corn tortillas from Balam - a Mexican food business set up by Eduardo and his team in Dublin. We have an excellent array of plant-based options too including the Vegan Prison Tray.

Our margaritas (11 different combinations and counting) use only the best 100% agave tequila and mezcal.

We don't mess around with wine/whiskey/vodka/dessert/coffee - just margaritas & tacos cabrones!

Creamed sweetcorn was delicious. The food is lovely but it was cold so wear a jumper!!

Food was delicious, we tried 6 different tacos between us and left nothing. The only negative was that one that didn’t sound spicy at all on the menu came out pretty hot, so if you aren’t into a lot of spice check with your server before ordering. Cocktails are all tequila/mescal based so not a lot of drink options if you aren’t a fan, but if you are you’re in the right place!

Incredible margaritas and amazing food! The portions are perfectly balanced—not too much, not too little—so you can enjoy your meal without feeling overwhelmed. Plus, it’s the ideal setup to savor their drinks while making the most of your 2-hour reservation. Highly recommend!

Excellent quality food at a great price and the margaritas were amazing, too, and worth the price - the same as what you pay for an inferior version elsewhere. Staff were lovely, too and had a great chat with the barman.

Used to be a good spot but food was terrible this time, as was service. Had to ask three times for a drink even though there were only a handful of customers in the restaurant.
