The El Serrano Family of Restaurants has come a long way since its humble beginnings in the 1980s as a food trailer at the York Fair--and while it is thousands of miles from Owner Manuel Torres' native Peru, stepping though its hand-carved mahogany doors is like entering a Latin-American hacienda.
Come and discover why we have been in Lancaster since 1993...enjoy Tex-Mex favorites like chicken fajitas or Peruvian specialties such as Lomo Saltado.

The booths are very private. The entire place is uniquely decorated with high quality tables, chairs and other motifs. Our server, Matthew, was incredibly attentive. I've eaten chiles rellenos in Texas, New Mexico and old Mexico, but the ones I had here were the best.

Three of the four meals were fantastic. The salmon was way undercooked. However, the Manager took care of the issue wonderfully and we still love this place. Plan on going back again soon!

My wife and I enjoy this restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is fantastic. We always have the chicken fajita along with a beverage of our choice. The Peruvian light lager is excellent.

El Serrano is consistently good and one of my favorite places to eat in Lancaster. I especially like the El Bandido with shredded beef. Be sure to add the spicy picante sauce.

We gather as a family for special occasions or special things we wish to celebrate or acknowledge. Being together 3 generations to share a meal is very special. ElSerrano is our “ special celebratory” location. We were seated along the windows to look out in the courtyard which was lovely. Jamie was our server and he went above and beyond with service and presented us with a fun upbeat welcoming personality. That was terrific!! We wish that families were able to enjoy El Serrano like we do but sadly realize in today’s economy, that is often financially not feasible. We therefore recognize that you have a restaurant to operate and financially that surely is difficult as well. We hope to be back soon to dine with you. The good selections are amazing and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and very very relaxing. We hope to dine with you again soon. Thank you for providing us with a memorable evening with family. 💗

Our experience was absolutely the best as it always is…. The food was excellent and the wait staff was extremely good. The hardest part about dining at El Serrano’s is trying to pick out which meal I want because they are all so good. Probably my favorite is their salmon. You just can’t go wrong at El Serrano’s in Lancaster if you want a good dining experience.
