I love this place. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is always delicious. One of my favorite spots in Austin.

We had an amazing experience! From the waitress to the food, I wish I could give them more than five stars. We are definitely going back and bring some friends and family!

Food and setting were wonderful! Very loud inside, but what can you expect from such a popular spot. Definitely coming back with larger group!

Great experience, from the attentive service to the creative and very yummy dishes. They have choices for every taste. I will definitely go back again. We ordered 3 small hot tapas and 1 vegetable paella for 3 people and it was the perfect amount of food.

Since it was our first time at El Raval we decided to order the chef's suggested sampler, called "Feed Me!" Everything was delicious and well-timed in coming to our table. The finale, paella de pato (duck paella), was outstanding and left us completely stuffed, but we managed to still have room for dessert, a sampler in itself of three. Our waiter, Ben, was very thorough explaining both the story behind the chef and restaurant as well as the descriptions of each course (I think there were seven including dessert). My husband also had a flight of wines selected to complement the food and he thought they were all excellent. We look forward to returning to El Raval soon.

Selected to come here after reading the menu and reviews. My sister’s husband and family are from the same region in Spain. Happened to be Flamingo night and I requested on the reservation if we could have great viewing seats to surprise my sisters with the show. When we checked in we were greeted as the sisters and seated right in front of the performance. We had the pleasure of having Ben as our waiter, his attentiveness, recommendations, and overall demeanor were outstanding. The food was excellent except for one Tapa that came out later after we asked our server about it. First bite we noted it was not hot. Croquetas should be served crisp n hot. We requested they heat them up. What was strange is the manager came and questioned us, stating he ate one and it was piping hot. We said no it was cold, not piping hot. He then stated that’s strange because chef tasted it to and he said it was piping hot. That made us very uncomfortable, we simply asked that they warm them up, and instead of doing so we are questioned on it and he stated they tried them. He then offered to get us a new order and we refused. Left us questioning if that just happened. We decided to leave after that and not stay for rest of evening or order anything else. I’m a foodie, travel or, very rarely send anything back to the kitchen and this experience was simply off putting. A shame because prior to that everything had been excellent.

Food was great, restaurant was nice and not too busy (Tuesday night) server was a little erratic in forgetting dishes, explanation of dishes being literally exactly what the menu said (just listing the ingredients unable to describe flavor profile, pairing with other dishes/drinks) and constantly coming back to check in once his busier tables left which is good, except when you’re on a date and half the time is spent listening to waiter. Highly suggest getting a paella and 2-3 tapas for portions which will cost you around $50+ per person. Overall will be back just with a different waiter, and my favorite dish on this visit was the short rib - absolutely delicious.

Oh, it’s a 100/10. The vibes? Immaculate The food? Immaculate The staff? Immaculate What a fun dining experience! Everything was absolutely delicious. This was our first experience with this style of dining and it was fantastic! From start to finish, this is just a classy and altogether lovely experience. Thank you!

As we are ourselves from Spain and we know very much El Raval in Barcelona,we wanted give it a try. Not disappointed,we liked the food (the bravas were just like home)and the rest very Spanish inspired,overall tasty food. Also they have vermut;)! The staff was friendly and polite and the ambiance in a Saturday lively and yes,loud! I also like the decor it made us remember our beloved city. We will come back ,for sure!
