Romantique

El Dorado Restaurant is a new concept on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta featuring an innovative menu of Modern Mexican Cuisine. Visit us and experience an upscale dining venue with incredible views of the bay and world class sunsets, paired with attentive service and a modern take on traditional Mexican cuisine.

We open daily for breakfast, beach club, lunch and dinner. Hours are from 8:30am-11:30pm. Reservations are highly recommended so we may better serve you. We are a casual restaurant during the day and upscale dining during the dinner service, please dress accordingly. See you soon!

El Dorado Restaurant is located at the end of the street towards the beach and has the convenience of street parking with exclusive spaces available for guests. Because of how popular the area is, we do recommend arriving by Uber or Taxi.
Public transit
We are located in the heart of the Romantic Zone, near the south end of the city. There are multiple bus stops nearby and the closest stop is at the Lazaro Cardenas park. From there, head towards the beach and walk southbound along the boardwalk. Once you pass the pier that looks like a sail, El Dorado Restaurant will be up ahead.

Excellent place for lunch. Right on the beach. The food is delicious. The sevice is second to none. The hostee is friendly and helpful. Our servers were attenive and professional. The food is freshly prepared and really delicious. The shrimp tacos were really good. The club sandwich was huge and yummy This place is a must for lunch or dinner in PV

Fantastic Evening. The histess was friendly and inviting the minute we showed up. Our server was amazing. He was friendly and attentive. The Margaritas are exceptional. The grilled oysters were perfect as was the calamai. The calamari in particular was the best ever. The chicken dinner was very tasty. There was an exceptional singer. Beautiful vouce and great choice of music. We will return.

The dish I ordered was not as good as I had hoped. I am a seafood lover, and was disappointed when the fish in my entree was so overcooked and very dry. The risotto was not cooked.

This is the place for a romantic dinner on the beach. It's the quintessential beachfront dining experience, where you can even dine with a table in the sand if you prefer. The food is well-prepared with good portions as well, although the menu doesn't change much from year to year.

Had high hopes for this restaurant, as it's beach front and was recommended by a local who also suggested its neighboring restaurant, La Palapa. We should've known, judging by the tons of diners present at La Palapa compared to the few patrons of El Dorado that there was a clear difference. Service was average at best. Our appetizer (mussels) were spoiled and smelled the moment the lid was removed. They offered to remake it, but there was no way we wanted to chance it. Drinks were average. My meal was fine, but my wife's steak and mashed potatoes arrived cold. Although they attempted to make up for the mishaps towards the end, it was not enough to make me return or recommend dining there, despite an incredible view and sunset.

Overpriced tourist trap. If you know what seafood and bone marrow look and taste like, you will be disappointed.

Very awesome Ambience the reason you would go there food was good but at the price point it should be. Based on Mexican restaurants cannot seem to get out of there for less than $120
