Romantique

El Dorado Restaurant is a new concept on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta featuring an innovative menu of Modern Mexican Cuisine. Visit us and experience an upscale dining venue with incredible views of the bay and world class sunsets, paired with attentive service and a modern take on traditional Mexican cuisine.

We open daily for breakfast, beach club, lunch and dinner. Hours are from 8:30am-11:00pm. Reservations are highly recommended so we may better serve you. We are a casual restaurant during the day and upscale dining during the dinner service, please dress accordingly. See you soon!

El Dorado Restaurant is located at the end of the street towards the beach and has the convenience of street parking with exclusive spaces available for guests. Because of how popular the area is, we do recommend arriving by Uber or Taxi.
Public transit
We are located in the heart of the Romantic Zone, near the south end of the city. There are multiple bus stops nearby and the closest stop is at the Lazaro Cardenas park. From there, head towards the beach and walk southbound along the boardwalk. Once you pass the pier that looks like a sail, El Dorado Restaurant will be up ahead.

Unforgetable. Lovely table on the beach at sunset with waves crashing and delicious food, superior margaritas and service. Best dining experience in all of PV❣️

Service and location are fantastic, but the food was mediocre at best. I was fully aware we’d be paying a premium for the location but had really hoped the food would be better. The calamari was chewy and the oil seemed burnt. My seafood risotto (35 USD) was an odd mash of under and overcooked rice, pasted together with bland tomato paste, one HALF of a scallop, one single rubbery octopus tentacle and 4 dodgy mussels with 4 anemic shrimp. My husband’s steak and shrimp ($75) was better; they do know their way around a grill and the meat seemed to be a nice cut. I left feeling like a foolish tourist for trying a meal instead of just drinks at a waterfront restaurant in a busy tourist area.

Very delicious dinner and beautiful seaside setting. Our seafood was cooked to perfection and the bartender made a mean cocktail. Was superb.
