Romantique

El Dorado Restaurant is a new concept on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta featuring an innovative menu of Modern Mexican Cuisine. Visit us and experience an upscale dining venue with incredible views of the bay and world class sunsets, paired with attentive service and a modern take on traditional Mexican cuisine.

We open daily for breakfast, beach club, lunch and dinner. Hours are from 8:30am-11:30pm. Reservations are highly recommended so we may better serve you. We are a casual restaurant during the day and upscale dining during the dinner service, please dress accordingly. See you soon!

El Dorado Restaurant is located at the end of the street towards the beach and has the convenience of street parking with exclusive spaces available for guests. Because of how popular the area is, we do recommend arriving by Uber or Taxi.
Métro ou Station
We are located in the heart of the Romantic Zone, near the south end of the city. There are multiple bus stops nearby and the closest stop is at the Lazaro Cardenas park. From there, head towards the beach and walk southbound along the boardwalk. Once you pass the pier that looks like a sail, El Dorado Restaurant will be up ahead.

We've been to PV three times and this is our third time dining here. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best visit and perhaps it was a one-off. Our waiter seemed excessively aggressive with his recommendations. I ordered the mahi mahi and it was very tough/rubbery and the sauce was way too salty. But, the ambiance was nice sitting near the ocean. I think we had a better meal earlier in the week at La Palapa just next door.

Amazing food, the service was wonderful, the restaurant is so beautiful, and the location can’t be beat. Had a special dinner here for a friends 40th here and the staff made it so memorable for us all.

It was overall an amazing experience, however I feel the restaurant should have a policy with local street vendors that they do not approach, physically tap guests at their table to ask multiple times to buy souvenirs.

Toda la comida y la atención fue fenomenal, los meseros son muy amables y el servicio es rápido. El ambiente es tranquilo y tiene una vista a la playa muy bonita.

The food and wait staff were wonderful. You cannot beat the view of the seaside with one of the best views of the sunset in PV.

Whomever gives this place less than 5 stars has some explaining to do! Unbeatable views, great service, awesome food and live music at the right noise level. Can’t find anything I didn’t love!
