Installé dans un ancien bâtiment de la compagnie de taxis Checker Taxi, l'El Che Bar est dirigé par John Manion. D'inspiration argentino-américaine, le restaurant représente avec amour le temps qu'il a passé à voyager en Argentine. L'établissement au cadre chaleureux et éclectique rappelle les rythmes contemporains de Buenos Aires revisités avec une approche locale. Le restaurant dégage une ambiance accueillante aux tons chauds, avec des clins d'œil subtils à l'Amérique du Sud. L'élégant bar en marbre noir contraste avec l'espace cuisine ouvert rudimentaire, où Manion cuisine des plats au feu de bois Al Asador. Des légumes locaux, des viandes grillées et des fruits de mer seront préparés sur les grills sur mesure et les plaques, dans un foyer ouvert. Spécialisée dans les spiritueux des Amériques, la carte des boissons propose également un menu de cocktails aventureux.

Food was delicious, service was excellent with food coming out quickly with temperatures of food being perfect. Drinks were good as well!

El Che definitely didn’t disappoint, the steaks were perfectly cooked and paired nicely with their sauce. I highly recommend the Italian Beef empanadas dipped in au jus.

An absolute gem. Tre our server was sweet and helpful and the food was phenomenal. My only regret is that I didn't have enough room to finish all the patatas bravas! They also surprised us with dessert at the end of our meal, since we were celebrating our engagement. Would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the experience I had at el Che. When we had doubts on the bottle of wine to get, the sommelier had plenty of recommendations after taking into account the typical reds we enjoy. Additionally, our server was very kind and patient in explaining the menu. Ultimately when we changed our mind on the steak we ordered, he was quick to update the order so we can get the party steak we wanted. So glad we did get the party steak and sweet potatoes, although I think we overestimated how much steak we could handle. Overall great experience!

We had an amazingly good first time visit and we will definitely be back!! We were amazed at how delicious EVERYTHING we had was. They have an amazing staff that welcomes you in and we witnessed some of the BEST customer service we have ever seen by Troy/Trey sorry I can’t remember which!! I love that the atmosphere was so nice and friendly. We literally had conversations with each group that sat beside us. This was a special occasion for each of us, 3 birthdays a closing and an anniversary. I cannot wait to return for empanadas I heard so much about while leaving among the rest of the menu! Kudos for this recommendation from TikTok!! I’m also going to try their other restaurant as well.

We came we saw we conquered! Came in to town for our 10th year Anniversary. Heard about the Mar de Plata and had to try! Fresh seafood CRAZY FLAVORS and sauce that slaps! My wife doesn’t do fries often and she ate them great!

What people are saying is true. Your server checks on you once after taking your order, the only service you get are from the extra waitstaff. We had to ask one of them to put in additional dish for us because we couldn’t get our server’s attention and even then, we obviously was disturbing him on his way elsewhere. The tables are closely spaced. The back of our chairs were rammed twice by the table behind us trying to get seated and situated. The food was fine, the drinks were palatable. Glad we checked it out, will not be revisiting.
