We had a lovely experience at El&N at Brompton Road. Dave was super helpful and the team was very accommodating when we asked to move to a more private area, as we were celebrating a special occasion. The food was delicious too!

We had high expectations as visited a previous location. Unfortunately we left feeling unhappy. On arrival we were seated and a server came to take the drinks order. A different server came back and took our food order and didn't know we had already ordered drinks. When the food arrived only 3 plates came, the 4th was still being made. The portion of pasta was pretty small for the price, my schnitzel burger was nice but the side was heated up. The two other dishes were fish and chips, made at diffrent times, one was fresh and the other was rubbery and the batter chewy from sitting around. My friend couldn't eat it. Then desert orders came and on the most part were good. One ordered a cheesecake, while looking at it I noticed the "fresh" fruit on top was actually mouldy. It was replaced, but just topped the experience. Needless to say we didn't pay the service charge or for the cheesecake. We will choose a different location next time.

I’m really annoyed. I did not get the waiters name because he was absolutely amazing and I would’ve loved to have sang his praises. The cake is absolutely divine service was impeccable. Thank you for hosting my party and I EL&N

Our experience at this location was spoiled by the service. Our waitress had a very negative attitude, felt as though she couldn’t be bothered to take our order, was getting in arguments with other staff members, forgot to bring out our food to the point where another staff member came over and asked if we would like to see the desert menu and I had to tell them that we hadn’t received our food yet. She went and checked on the food and brought it out. But by the time she brought it out the food that was meant to be chilled was a bit melted and soggy and the food that was meant to be hot was room temperature and soggy. They also forgot one of the dishes so she said she would go have a look but it then didn’t come out for an additional 5 minutes, so I am under the impression that the original waitress forgot to even put it in. The food wasn’t ver nice, one member of our party ordered the chicken club sandwich and the chicken was clearly the precooked chicken from the packets you can get at the supermarket. It was the same rubbery texture and had the same packaging taste (not nice at all). The Açai bowl we ordered had been sat waiting so long the granola had pretty much all dissolved/ gone soggy so looked more like a bowl of bright blue soup. During our meal we couldn’t get the attention of any service staff to even ask for salt/ pepper so we had to go in search of it ourselves. When we had finished it took us many attempts to get them to bring the bill. When trying to pay we felt the wait staff again was quite rude (different from the original waitress, whom didn't come to our table again after never bringing out the food, although she was around).

We had a great Mother's Day brunch at EL&N and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. What truly elevated the experience was the incredible service from Libin and Radwan, who went above and beyond from recommendations to being really attentive. The vegetarian breakfast exceeded exceptions with the perfectly poached eggs (the best the mum's have ever had) and creamy sliced avocado, creating a visually appealing dish. I ordered a juicy double smash burger with perfectly cooked patties and a tasty burger sauce. The burger comes with cheesy french fries with chopped gerkins on top and a soft drink. I can't wait to go back and try the chicken burger. We tried the mushroom and cheese melt cube and it was different but really tasty. It's considered a meal, but we thought it was more of a add on to a meal. It's definitely worth trying but a little overpriced for what it is. The selection of cakes is incredible and really difficult to choose from. We got the pistachio cake and Nutella coffee cake that were fluffy and tasted delicious. The restaurant is really instagramable but still comfy to dine in. The staff are not pushy to get you out of the door and it's reasonably prices. We really recommend EL&N and can't wait to go back.

Beautiful place, sadly my girls had the French toast which wasn’t cooked in the centre so they couldn’t eat it. I mentioned it to the server but nothing was done. A waste of £30z Shame because I’ve been there a couple of times before and had a great time. Will need to find somewhere else now

Food and drink were very good. Back room was a bit cold from the air-conditioning unit, service was a little slow at times but all in all definitely worth going there.

The ambiance for Elan at Brompton isnt the worst, but compared to other outlets like the one at Knightsbridge, it pales in comparison. Dimmer lights, worn out menu cards, very compact space with a lot of tables placed adjacent to each other. The dessert section near the main window had some fruit flies buzzing around which was a major ickkk! I went to have late lunch and dessert and the latter was cut out because of this. The lunch itself was so bland and inedible that it hurt to spend so much money for nothing in return. I ordered the club sandwich, which was coleslaw and rock hard turkey bacon pieces in bread. Alongside was some baked potato with shreds of dry Parmesan on it(?) when I asked for fries the server was reluctant at first and when I prompted for a reason why they couldn’t be exchanged for fries, he then brought them to the table. Overall: overpriced and overrated.
