Eigikutei is a Japanese cuisine, sushi, and Shabu Shabu Kaiseki restaurant in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. We have a bar and offer high-end Japanese sake.
Eigikutei serves Japanese Kaiseki cuisine courses. Each Kaiseki course expresses the traditional Japanese culture and simple but deep tastes that Japan has grown from time immemorial. We hope all of our guests can enjoy our Kaiseki cuisine with Japanese cultural experiences.

Overall great experience it was pretty strange in the beginning multiple people walked passed us and didn’t greet us which felt alittle uncomfortable. But once me and my partner sat down the food was and service was great . We each had the irodori which was fabulous , the fish was fresh and the chef was amazing. Highly recommend.

Eigitukei omakase was, without a doubt, the best omakase experience I’ve ever had. From start to finish, it was a showcase of culinary excellence, blending tradition with artistry. The fish, flown fresh from Japan, was impeccable. Each piece was a testament to the chef’s commitment to quality and authenticity. The textures and flavors were vibrant and clean, with every bite feeling like a journey through Japan’s finest waters. The sushi chef was a true master of his craft. We went with a large party (14 people) with a mix of kids and adults. The service was fantastic and the kaiseki menu was something that you don't find everywhere. Some of us got the shabu-shabu and others the sushi, but all of it was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Long wait even with reservation, waited for more than 45min before seated. Food are good but not as impressive with the price. Staffs are friendly and accommodating.

We reserved for the yawaragi experience. Service was fast abd coordinated well. Attention to detail top notch. Ambience surprisingly pleasant, didn’t expect it from the outside. Food excellent. We’re planning future trips with family and friends.

Great service and good foods. The sushi chef explained the recipes of every single dish and showed us pictures of fish he served at sushi bar. Lovely experience

We were excited for dinner after reading reviews. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not live up to our expectations. We thought the restaurant would be more attractive inside. The small dishes were delicious but Shabu shabu was disappointing. Our pot heat was not appropriately turned up so our food woukd not cook properly. We did not know the right setting. Someone should have helped us. Crab did not taste fresh. We should have been given more vegetables. The porridge was tasty but the dessert was awful. Overall, it was way too expensive for the experience. We cannot recommend this restaurant due to poor value.
