La décoration intérieure blanche éclatante du salon et restaurant EIGHT4NINE crée un cadre minimaliste parfait pour mieux mettre en valeur les saveurs culinaires colorées du menu.     The food was really good with one big exception. The vegetarian option for the main course was braised cabbage. It sounded interesting, but in fact, was bland and hard to cut through. The other disappointment was the service. Our server, Cale was good at the start, but after we ordered our drinks to go with dinner, that was the last we saw of him until he brought the check. Didn’t even get a chance to order a second glass of wine. The 20% gratuity was automatically added and it seemed that may be the reason for the seeminglack of thought or care from the server. This is regular favorite of ours and the first time we have experienced anything negative.

    Christmas dinner at Eight4Nine was exceptional. The ambiance - outside with heat lamps and a fire - was amazing. The food and service were great as well. Highly recommended!

    Everything was incredible. Our server Gloria was a delight... Our food was amazing and I had plenty of extra food for my lunch today.. Best Pre-Fix Holiday Meal in town... Besides Willie's Fine Dine - That is another favorite of ours.

    One of our favorite places to eat in Palm Springs. Great food and ambiance. The Milanese is the best in the desert and we loved the filet mignon last time we ate there. Highly recommend. Try the “849” cocktail if your thirsty

    Six of us were really looking forward to a lovely 849 Christmas Eve dinner. We had a 715 pm res and showed on time. We waited until 745 pm for our table, then waited for service. They’re always so nice, but must have been over whelmed. We had an uncomplicated dinner order of starters and mains, but waited until nearly ten to get it. The young manager was very kind and came by several times to apologize for the delays. We didn’t complain, but were disappointed our meal was so delayed. I hope the staff were treated with kindness, as they were clearly working very hard. I heard several other patrons make unhappy comments. It’s NOT the norm for 849, they’re usually top notch. Just a bad night.
