La décoration intérieure blanche éclatante du salon et restaurant EIGHT4NINE crée un cadre minimaliste parfait pour mieux mettre en valeur les saveurs culinaires colorées du menu. Ce dernier met à l'honneur la cuisine américaine moderne de la côte Ouest axée sur la présentation et les saveurs. Le restaurant propose une cuisine soignée, subtile et savoureuse. Le chef Chuck Courtney a fait l'objet de nombreuses couvertures médiatiques de haut niveau comme Bon Appétit Magazine, le magazine Wine Spectator, le New York Times, Diablo Magazine et The Contra Costa Times. Sa cuisine reflète les influences culinaires variées de la côte Ouest, tout en bénéficiant des produits de spécialité, viandes et fruits de mer les plus frais. This was our second visit to Eight4Nine and it lived up to the memories. The food was delicious; unique flavours...almost comfort food level. Service was excellent and the ambience was awesome. We sat out side and watched an old black & white movie play on the building wall while enjoying our meal. Good value and would recommend.

Our first visit since 2019 when last we were in Palm Springs; we had fond memories and we were not disappointed this time. Starting with the warm greeting and excellent friendly service, then the cocktails, the food and the wine. The room has well-spaced tables and the people-watching is first class.

849 has been our go-to for special celebrations for years. While this time we celebrated our anniversary, we don’t need a special occasion to enjoy the ambiance, outstanding service, wonderful food, expansive wine and champagne selection, and tasty selection of desserts. We were so impressed with the food and the staff! Both were wonderful. The melon gazpacho and sea bass were yummy. If we lived in this area we would go once a week, but sadly we are just visiting.

We had an extraordinary dining experience. We were getting together with friends that we hadn't seen in a year and were seated in a quiet area of the restaurant because we wanted to catch up. Our server was terrific, the food exceptional (especially the house greens salad) and our evening could not have been more delightful. Really the service, ambiance and food is an 11 out of 10! Cheers.
