Welcome to Eight at Gazegill by Doug Crampton. For a couple of decades now, the current custodians of Gazegill have toyed with the idea of taking our home grown produce from farm to plate right here at Gazegill. With a family history spanning nearly 500 years, generations of the family have worked this land and have all left their mark, a heritage that we are very proud of today.

    Varied menu , organic locally sourced food Standard of food exceptional. Waiting staff , very polite . Kitchen staff , able to adapt dishes to meet my dietary requirements. Would highly recommend . Wishing Doug Crampton and all his team every success .

    We took the family for Sunday lunch , we all thoroughly enjoyed each and every course, we shall definatly be back to sample the week day menu

    Lovely restaurant and meal. We all four enjoyed it and would go again. Only disappointment was Eton Mess dessert which I thought was very dull.

    We enjoyed a truly fabulous lunch at Eight at Gazegill. We are spoiled for choice for great places to eat in the Ribble Valley but Eight really is something special. Thoughtful, perfectly executed dishes crafted from the highest quality produce. The service was, at times, a bit ‘hit and miss’ but attributable to an inexperienced team. The staff were, though, friendly and enthusiastic and the occasional ‘blip’ did not, in any way, detract from a very, very lovely experience. We shall return.

    Service was first class ,food delicious. Only problem we had was finding the place sat nav got lost. We say a lorry which we thought was delivering to the restaurant and followed it yippee it was . More signage needed.

    Very nice restaurant area. Lovely views. The quality of the food is great but poetion sizes a bit small. But we enjoyed it.

    Great food. Fantastic surroundings. Enjoyed our brunch and can’t wait return for lunch or dinner. Brunch menu was excellent

    Absolutely beautiful Sunday lunch. The venue is beautiful - calming, peaceful, relaxed yet upper class. The service was lovely and attentive. Food was perfect.
