Food was good, but it would have been nice to see the crab that was part of my dinner. It supposedly had crab and shrimp. I saw tiny shrimp in the dish but no crab. The waiter was very good, but he needs a little more training. He came to our table a few times, but never asked if I wanted another glass of wine. He did ask if I wanted more water. I didn't say anything just to see if he would ask. I was surprised the restaurant was about 50-60% empty for a Saturday night from about 6PM to 8pm. The restaurant is in a prime location and that evening the weather was beautiful that so many patrons were walking around going from place to place and bar to bar. There are a lot of restaurants in this condensed area.

One of the best brunches in Charlotte! Reservations on weekends from 0700-1000 and 2:00pm until closing…Our server, Diana,was fantastic…Gooey goose bread, spiced butternut squash bisque, Cajun shrimp&grits, eggstravaganza, eggspectation omelette, fresh squeezed OJ, and hot coffee - delicious! Definitely recommend!

We went for dinner. The food was pretty good but the service was very slow. Will try at breakfast and see if it’s better but unlikely to go back for dinner.

We went for breakfast. My son enjoyed the French toast and bacon. My wife enjoyed her lamb and eggs. The Nashville hot Benny was good as well. We didn’t have any complaints. We’ll visit again!

First time in Charlotte saw this place on TikTok best breakfast I ever had! Everything was fresh, great service, nice pricing and wonderful quality.

Excellent meal and service at Eggspectation in Ballantyne. Friday night date night menu is a great value and lots of fun. Service from Timothy was excellent. Only disappointment was that our main courses were delivered within minutes of getting our salads.

We first dined at Eggspectation over 20 years ago while on vacation in Toronto. So we were really excited that a location opened in Charlotte and finally got a chance to try it out. We had late Sunday brunch. Service was prompt. We had the classic eggs Benedict, French dip Benedict, Gooey Goose bread and of course Mimosas. Food was outstanding and portions were large, we brought half our meals home. I loved the who’s laid back vibe the restaurant gives. Will have to try the dinner menu next. I highly recommend.

Food was awesome and Diana was great and provided exceptional service. We joked with her about being a country girl and she was super friendly! So much so, that we went back Sunday morning! Great job Diana and eggspectation!
