I went on a night there was a gig on at arena. So was extremely busy but the staff were very organised. The table service was great not to long of a wait for food considering it was so busy. Overall excellent service

Very disappointing really, i left in the notes that we needed a high chair but were sat at a high table with my daughter below us not sitting to the table. We were shown to another table after around 10 mins which was more suitable though. My 5 year old son has coeliac disease & needs a strict gluten free diet & the gluten free selection was a reason we chose to go to Ed’s but after asking for the GF menu we were told that the GF fryers weren’t on so he couldnt have chips which is disappointing as he had to have beans instead. Clearley under staffed for a saturday afternoon. Woman who greeted us was very nice though & was working 100%.

Staff were absolutely lovely from walking in to leaving. Food was hot fresh and tasty! Cannot fault the experience at all. We had a newborn in pushchair and 5 year old and they were so accommodating. Definitely be returning!

I appreciate there may have been issues or reasons (which they wouldn't tell me), and it was the common wealth games. But when I turned up for my booking they had decided to close early and i couldnt dine there. I explained that it was pretty bad service not to at least notify me prior to my visit. The manager was then also very blunt saying he never had my booking through open table also... which I find very odd. Overall, im not very happy with Eds diner and will not be going back to that particular branch. Instead I found an amazing japenese cuisine reataurant in broad street and ate there. They were more than excellent in food quality and service. Puts Ed's to shame frankly.

Arrived 10 minutes before booking to be told no tables are reserved for that evening. I showed the lady the booking and was told would have to wait. Had to wait 30 minutes for a table then. Booking was confirmed in the morning before going. Really annoying as we had a show to attend

Booked a table a week prior to arriving and was told very busy haven’t got a table yet. Eventually got a table in the back corner next to the kitchen. Ridiculously hot with no ventilation. Hand smears on the glass opposite which gave a filthy feeling and general feel of get in and get out. What is the point in me booking a table for a specific time and date for my family if you can’t honour the booking. Waste of my time and then to asked to prove my booking with a staff members look of doubt was the cherry on the cake. Won’t be returning POOR!!!!!
