EDO Gastro Tapas & Wine is inspired by Spain’s tradition of eating small savory dishes, typically served with drinks. Raised in Barcelona, Chef Oscar Amador Edo was exposed to Catalonia’s rich cusine from an early age. Located on the Mideterranean coast, the region offers a generous and varied selection of ingredient options, allowing imaginative results. Our approach offers classic recipes with modern and avant-garde techniques. Inspired by great cuisines around the world, our innovative kitchen’s only rule is to deliver the best combinations, awakening our senses to new flavors, aromas and textures.

We experienced the tasting menu with wine pairings. It was something out of this world. The mixture of flavors, texture, and presentation were right on point. We highly recommend this place and will return soon!

Been wanting to try this place since I had enjoyed sister restaurant Anima by EDO. Atmosphere: leaned into the hole in the wall café aesthetic, with the random knickknacks, beads, kitschy light fixtures, and an impressive mural dominating one wall. Music was eclectic. An amuse-bouche of watermelon gazpacho was so delicious I grabbed the menu to see if a full bowl was to be had; alas, no. Ordered- Water Blossom ($13): Beautiful drink (and glassware), subtle juicy crispness, cooling. Pan con Tomate ($8): It's a test of my sanity, if I pay for bread at a restaurant. Verdict: borderline sane, as the bread was thick, crunchy, and just salty/fatty enough for the mound of fresh tomato chunks on top. Spanish Octopus ($27): Adequate amount of firm-but-yielding tentacle cubes, really relied on the other ingredients on the plate to add flavor pizazz. Marqués de Riscal 2021 Verdejo ($14): Very generous pour. Skull Island Tiger Prawns ($32 for two): Got because of the name, and yes quite large. Sharp and cheesy flavor, but that meat was almost welded to the shells; I hate working for my food. Once extracted, mostly intact, flesh was firm. Granita ($10): Full fruit flavor in ice accompanied by the evocative popcorn mousse. Both quenelles were generously portioned, and survived without melting too much in the bowl before being consumed. Chateau Roumieu 2020 Semillon ($20): Or, so it said on the menu and check. If I go by the bottle presented to me, 2014 Husic Vineyards Late Harvest Semillon. Decent pour. Value: Ping-pongs from excellent, average, and above average. Service: Friendly, even eager.

EDO Gastro Tapas & Wine is an Excellent spot. Welcoming & chill vibe, friendly & attentive service (Thank You Michael), wonderful wine list, and a delicious menu. The Chef’s Tasting Menu is masterfully prepared, and seasoned to perfection. Our favorite bites are their Octopus Carpaccio, and their Wagyu Pastrami. We highly recommend EDO Gastro Tapas & Wine.

Was a great night with amazing service and knowledgeable staff. We went for my birthday and we will be back! Next time we are doing the tasting menu for fun 🤩

Food just wasn’t good. It wasn’t terrible, but it was worse than average. Salty, not creative, tried to overengineer every plate…

We did the tasting menu and I highly recommend! Our waiter suggested a bottle of wine to pair with it and it was perfection! The food was delicious and beautifully presented and the service was impeccable. The restaurant was full but the noise level was very low so conversation was easy. Highly highly recommend!
