Food is not as good as it used to be… It was dried out and overcooked. The fried brussels sprouts that we always order for an appetizer were undercooked, you couldn’t even cut them with a knife. Overall, the meal was very disappointing. It’s a beautiful venue, at least that was nice!

We have all loved this place for years but were disappointed as the recipes have changed and not for the better.

Waitstaff so attentive, nice view. Chopped salad great! Panzella salad just ok. Crab dip good, had a nice kick.

Although it was a holiday weekend and understand the busy time, the service could and should have been more attentive. Was never asked if I wanted another glass of wine. Which I did.

Friendly wait personnel, nice view (inside and out), interesting menu items. The Steak Frites is my favorite!

Disappointing experience: Party of 7 shoved in a small table while a table beside us seated at the same time, 5 people at a table for 8. Ordered 2 appetizers for the table (same appetizers) they came out 10 minutes apart. Salads came at the same time as dinners. Had to wait to order more cocktails and wine. Did it have time to finish 2nd bottle of wine, waitress didn’t have a cork for us to take with us.

Food and service was excellent. It was really hot indoors. We’ll ask to eat outside next time. And there will definitely be a next time!

We love Edgewater, but we were very disappointed in our first brunch experience there. The menu required a good bit of explanation and we had to ask our server to walk us through it. Several dishes had unique names that told us nothing about what the dish was. The ambience was not what we have grown accustomed to. The table was bare - no flowers, no table settings, not even salt and pepper. The food presentation was equally unimpressive - the meals consisted of the main dish with a small side of hash browns. Nothing else, nothing to dress up the plate. My Croquet Madame was cold. The cheese was room temperature, not even melted. The bread seemed to have been run through the toaster in a hurry - it was burned on the edge and soft in the middle. The omelet of the day was good, but again...a big plate with the omelet and small serving of hash browns. No options for sides were offered.
