Edesia is a Restaurant and Cocktail Bar & Lounge in the heart of Bath overlooking Guildhall and The Abbey that serves South American-inspired dishes, made with the best of British produce.

Monday to Friday lunch is where we serve our selection of ceviches, along with the best slow cooked meats, chargrilled chicken and much more.

Dinner at EDESIA is a celebratory affair with a menu of small and large dishes to share. From snacks to ceviches, land, sea and soil, the menu has something for everyone with a focus on bold flavours, citrus and smoke.

The bar at EDESIA serves expertly-made cocktails and is a great place for an after dinner drink or to sit and enjoy the evening over a bottle of wine and have a little dance if you fancy.

Celebrate Sundays and dine with VIBE at EDESIA with our signature Sunday roasts featuring roasted Sirlion of Beef, Chicken Supreme, Rump of Lamb, Lion of Pork, Market Fish & Beetroot Wellington. All of our roasts are served with roasted potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, selection of vegetables, cauliflower cheese and homemade gravy. Please note that you will be charged the full menu price on the day alongside any extras, drinks and a discretionary 12.5% service charge.

First time I ever been there and will definitely go back. Nice decor, good service and well priced. I had skewered chicken, chips and salad which was beautiful presented. Slight critique that the chicken was not as tender as I had hoped but very nice nonetheless. Would definitely recommend.

The food was excellent and so was the service. I saw a fellow dinner with the fillet steak and it look amazing. We had the tacos and they were delicious. We will definitely go back to Edesia restaurant

Had a lovely dinner for 2 here on Saturday night. Lovely restaurant with friendly attentive staff. The food was great (shared a starter of chorizo croquettes, then had the grilled king prawns - which were huge - and also a burger). Location is perfect, in the middle of buzzing Bath. The upstairs turns into a disco/bar at night with a live DJ and the only issue to fault is that dining guests have to go upstairs through the disco/music to find the toilets (very confusing for most, especially older people and children). A lovely restaurant we would definitely return to.

Service was decent and friendly. The “South American” food is quite limited and not very authentic. It is more of a standard modern British spot with some South American inspiration. The food was pretty pricy for the quality. Additionally, most of our plates were under salted. Overall 3/5. Could have been better.

First time dining here with friends and will definitely return. The food was amazing and great variety. Very good value. The bar area for pre dinner drinks was very welcoming and comfortable, we enjoyed some great cocktails. The restaurant was buzzy and service great.

Just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our family (9 of us in total) at Edesia and had a fantastic time. Couldn't fault the food or the service. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Three of us are vegetarians and there was plenty of choice for everyone including the children.

4 or us ate here. Excellent 2 or 3 course set lunch - tasty, well presented, good value. Very nice service; good wine at a not too unreasonable price.

We ordered only small plates to share and they were all delicious including beet and mushroom tartare and short rib tacos. Most dishes had gluten free option which was super nice.
