Edesia is a Restaurant and Cocktail Bar & Lounge in the heart of Bath overlooking Guildhall and The Abbey that serves South American-inspired dishes, made with the best of British produce.

Monday to Friday lunch is where we serve our selection of ceviches, along with the best slow cooked meats, chargrilled chicken and much more.

Dinner at EDESIA is a celebratory affair with a menu of small and large dishes to share. From snacks to ceviches, land, sea and soil, the menu has something for everyone with a focus on bold flavours, citrus and smoke.

The bar at EDESIA serves expertly-made cocktails and is a great place for an after dinner drink or to sit and enjoy the evening over a bottle of wine and have a little dance if you fancy.

We ordered only small plates to share and they were all delicious including beet and mushroom tartare and short rib tacos. Most dishes had gluten free option which was super nice.

The food was amazing. We celebrated my birthday and although too full for dessert we were given a complimentary slice of lemon tart to celebrate. We did have to keep getting the waiting staff’s attention to order to order drinks, get the bill etc. We will definitely be back next time we visit Bath.

This was the occasion of a joint 40th birthday for two friends. Somehow I’d managed to book it as an anniversary, so one of them got a really nice Happy Anniversary dessert plate, my bad it seems. The food was great. It’s amazing the difference a server makes to the experience. The second server, changed halfway through the meal, was full of energy and warmth and completely changed our perception. Before that the party of 5 had felt a bit like we were the forgotten table. Food was very good, a Latin fusion vibe, as well as was the wine, overall recommended.

The food was fantastic, the restaurant was beautiful and the service was spot on. This was at odds with the extremely loud and sweary table that had had bottomless brunch next to us at 5pm. The restaurant were absolutely lovely but these particularly guests needed to know that shouting Sweet Caroline and you lot are f***ing s**t at regular intervals was unacceptable and unfair on the other guests. A quiet word would have probably sorted it..

A group of 4 of us visited for the bottomless brunch to celebrate our friend’s birthday. We had a great time. The choice of food and drinks was really good and the food we all had was delicious. The service was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again

Great restaurant situated near Bath Abbey. Food was delicious. We ordered a selection of small plates to share, all great. Service was excellent.
