Now well into our third decade in business, Eddington’s attributes the restaurant’s success to creating flavorful and creative meals consistently using the best of Huron County’s bounty.
Owner James Eddington states “we are so blessed to be living in such an agriculturally rich area of the world”.
Although the local food movement is really starting to take off, it has always been the driving force in Eddington’s kitchen. A menu that changes frequently, as each season inspires the delicacies our region has to offer.
Eddington’s occupies the original Carling homestead (built in the 1870’s). After two major renovations, an addition of the a new dining room and a serene outdoor backyard summer patio, the restaurant has a clean and modern look while maintaining its traditional and warm feel.

    Amazing as always!! Love coming here and sitting on the beautiful patio, the food, staff/service and ambiance is always so good, and live music is a bonus, always great performers! Such a great spot to have in our town 😊

    Our visit to Eddingtons was nothing short of exceptional. As our American family's first dining experience in the country, we could not have chosen a better place to showcase the finest our cuisine has to offer. The food was extraordinary, with each dish expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. From the starters to the desserts, every bite was a delightful adventure. The wine selection was equally impressive, perfectly complementing our meals and enhancing the overall experience. The service was top-notch. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel right at home. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect. Eddingtons provided a beautiful and memorable experience, setting a high standard for dining in our country. We look forward to returning and highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional culinary experience.
