Now well into our third decade in business, Eddington’s attributes the restaurant’s success to creating flavorful and creative meals consistently using the best of Huron County’s bounty.
Owner James Eddington states “we are so blessed to be living in such an agriculturally rich area of the world”.
Although the local food movement is really starting to take off, it has always been the driving force in Eddington’s kitchen. A menu that changes frequently, as each season inspires the delicacies our region has to offer.
Eddington’s occupies the original Carling homestead (built in the 1870’s). After two major renovations, an addition of the a new dining room and a serene outdoor backyard summer patio, the restaurant has a clean and modern look while maintaining its traditional and warm feel.

    As mentioned to our server Tracy, the meals at Eddingtons are always, everyday, top notch - so I don’t know how this actually happened - but tonight’s meal topped every meal - Tracy and James -over and above - well done and thanks to the chef 🧑‍🍳 as well. 👌 As for the rest at my table - theirs were fabulous too and it was their first visit - Thank You 😊

    For all the amazing reviews our experience was just ok. Food was fine but not outstanding. Lovely patio.

    We had a lovely evening up create my birthday. The food was delicious, the outdoor patio comfortable and inviting, and the entertainment was fabulous.

    we visited on Valentine’s day this year and my husband ordered the lamb shank, it was stunning and I vowed we would return and I would have that . I must admit I was a little disappointed , it did not fall of the bone and it was not as grand as when I had it before . But , we also tried the seasonal flatbread , dill fries.. both were fun and yummy . My sister had the duck wings which were fantastic .

    Patio was beautiful. Server was pleasant and efficient. Atmosphere was the best. Food was well prepared and tasted delicious. Very clean patio. Staff friendly. Would highly recommend.

    I had a bowl of vegetables and it cost $24. My sister had a 24$ grill cheese. Excellent sandwich but stil 2 pieces of bread and some cheese.

    food was excellent - loved the bacon & potato pizza - as well as the power bowl! servers were very friendly and accommodating - we LOVE going to Eddington's!
