We had eaten at Eddie V’s once before and had great food and service. Thought it would be the perfect place to celebrate a big birthday. We were so sadly disappointed. The waiter was friendly but horrible. It took over 20 minutes to get a drink. He would forget to bring limes, sweeteners, a refill. He kept disappearing and it took forever to order. A 8:15 reservation left us closing the restaurant due to how long it took to order and receive our food. Then the waiter forgot to bring our birthday dessert. It was embarrassing. He kept apologizing all night but yet continued to forget items over and over. We won’t be back.

Place is very quiet & quite boring, compared to the Las Olas location. I'll say this, our server was very nice & we really enjoyed the tuna tartar & loved the steak tartar. That said, every once in a while, I need a reminder of why I don't get steaks in restaurants. Took the Mrs for a date night at Eddie V's in Boca Raton last night. I got the surf & turf, regrettably. The tail was awesome, but the filet was awful. I ordered it med rare. Somehow, they managed to cook it med rare on one side of the steak & med well on the other. Plus, it was horribly over salted, I had to chug 3 cups of water after eating 3/4 of it (I took the rest home for my labradors). Here's the real kick in the nuts, this plate was $113!!! My steaks I cook at home crush this sad thing.....Oh well, lesson learned, again

I've been to several Eddie Vs. and the thing that constantly impresses me is the consistency in the quality of the food, ambiance and great service. Our experience in Boca was no different. Thanks Avri (our server) for extraordinary service!!!

It was an exceptional evening celebrating my husband’s birthday. Upon being seated, we we’re impressed to see a decorated table, and receive glasses of champagne. Our server, Darian was professional, personable, and very attentive. Everything we are drank and ate (Hope Diamond and Private Plane cocktails, bread plate, lobster bisque, burrata salad, fillet, sea bass and complimentary birthday dessert was superb and prepared perfectly. Thank you Eddie V’s for the outstanding experience.
