We’ll be open from 11am-8pm and serving a special, three-course, turkey dinner with all the trimmings for $49 per person ($24 for children). Eddie Merlot’s is one of my favorites for excellent steaks. Classy atmosphere and staff always do a great job.

First time dining here and what a disappointment. First the good: it’s a beautiful setting, cocktails and wine good, ordered the shrimp cocktail and French onion soup also very good. Now to the next part: the server promoted the steaks because after all that’s what they are known for. So I ordered the prime ribeye ($69) RARE. When it came out about 1/4 was a solid mass of gristle and was done medium. I did not take even one bite and sent it back. In the meantime my partner ordered the Chilean sea bass ($48) with a side of “grilled asparagus “ which was not only not grilled but steamed into mush. She did say the fish was really good. About 15 minutes later my second steak arrived and yes, it was cooked rare, but more than half was gristle and inedible. I managed about 3 or 4 bites but by then I lost my appetite. When the waiter came by and looked at my plate which had a small piece of steak and along side it a huge pile of gristle he wanted to know if I wanted it boxed up. With my fork I picked up this huge piece of gristle and said really? He got the manager over who apologized and said he had to go talk to his chef. So we sat some more when he came back he asked could he get me anything else but by now we had been there almost two hours. I said just bring the check. They did take off the two drinks, two sides and my steak. With all the great steak houses around (Gibsons, Capital Grill etc. ) pick one of those.

The food was delicious! We have dined here for the last 3 years for mine and my son’s birthdays which are one day after another. It is always above and beyond anything we have experienced elsewhere. Frank was very knowledgeable and kind! Thank you! Cynthia Schaubert

Our first time visiting and will definitely return. The quality of the steaks, sides, appetizers & drinks were excellent and cooked to perfection. We went on a Friday and there was live entertainment provided which was very enjoyable, but not too loud. A very enjoyable dining experience!

It's pretty simple. Great service with an obvious attention to detail. Great food, expertly prepared with the highest quality meat and ingredients, and classic, simple presentation done extremely well. It was impeccable from start to finish and from every perspective. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. You get what you pay for, and paying for quality is always a good notion.

If I’m paying Maple and Ash prices, I expect that experience. This wasn’t it. Our first time here. Very nice dining room, greeted and promptly seated when we arrived. Our waiter came right over, asked our preference for water, served promptly. We didn’t see her again for 15 minutes. Upon her return, she took our drink order and asked if it was our first time there, to which we responded in the affirmative. She then proceeded to go through the entire menu from top to bottom. We can read, and it’s not a complicated menu. She left, and returned 10 minutes later to take our dinner order. Still no drinks. 10 minutes later, my salad arrived… no drinks, which finally arrived when our dinner was served… 15 minutes later. The chopped salad was excellent. My wife’s filet and seafood combo were very good. My NY strip was disappointing. Not a usual strip, but thin, full of gristle, and overcooked. (I had ordered it medium). During dinner, my wife ordered a glass of wine, also ordering a dessert, which took another 15 minutes to arrive. The check was left, and I immediately noticed that the glass of wine turned into a charge for a full bottle of wine. I notified our server, who took it away to correct it. I said to my wife that the proper play here would be to comp the glass of wine. That didn’t happen, nor did an apology, rather an excuse as to why it happened. I paid the bill with a credit card, which further delayed the evening. Our server returned, explaining that they had a problem with their chip reader and everything had to be entered manually. I was told I had to sign one receipt, and complete another. Just odd. No thank you for coming, nothing. We left, and won’t be returning.
