    We have an annual get together at Christmas every year at Eddie Merlot's. We sit in the bar area and look at the holiday tree. We told our server we were there for a leisurely dinner and he honored that. He didn't rush us at all and coursed our dinner as such. He made great recommendations and helped convinced me to trg the elk chop. It was fantastic. Everything was great until the end when we were told that parking was no longer validated. That had been in place since the restaurant opened and has been a differentiator from other steakhouses. That was disappointing.

    We were there for almost 3 hrs, took much longer than normal past visits at restaurant. It took over an hour to get nonalcoholic beverages to table of 4. I got my Prosecco after an hour of wait but my other guests did not get ice tea and coke until asked other server to please help.

    My family and I had gathered here for a milestone celebration. We checked online to confirm dress code which is more like business casual at the very least. However, once we were sat another large table was placed next to us with graphics all over their clothes, tennis shoes, hoodies etc. I was VERY taken back as I thought we were attending a restaurant that was a bit classier. One of the folks in our party was elderly and could hardly walk. When we checked with Valet they said the only way for her to get in was to walk up both sets of steps. We asked if we could use the back ones since there weren’t that many and we were told no. Once inside I complained to only find out we could have self parked and taken an elevator. This information needs to be VERY clear on the website and the valet team should really know about this option. It was very disappointing. Food was average at best. I think other steakhouses in the area are much better especially for the price. This was our first time there and I’m sorry to say we will not be returning.

    Sat at the bar, reservation was for 615 for bar seating. Didn't get a call for seating until after 7pm. Had already orderred food at the bar, bar tenders were confused and overwhelmed.

    Had a 6:30 for four people and was directed to bar as table wasn’t ready. Stood at bar while waiting 20 minutes for bartender to clear empty glasses/plates from prior party from our area. . 10 minutes later the bartender returned and asked us if we’d like a drink. At that point the hostess approached to tell us that table still wasn’t ready and if we didn’t mind, they could accomodate us at a booth and not table. Upon sitting down at booth, it took 10 minutes for waitress so at that point….we were over 40 minutes without even a drink. Waitress (rushed, exhausted and green) took our drink orders only to return 10 minutes later to tell us that the smoker (we ordered 2 wines and 2 smoked Manhattans) was broken. 15 minutes later she returned with drinks and took our appetizer orders. 65 minutes before first drink arrived. 20 minutes later we received our Oyster order of half dozen and one of the oysters was missing from the shell. Then we ordered our dinners. 30 plus minutes later our dinners appeared and my Sea Bass was cold in middle. Fillet order from friend next to me arrived and could not have looked worse from a presentation standpoint. Scale of 1/10 the experience was a solid 3 and I’m not picky. Cost of the evening was $450 (with the sympathy/Christmas tip of 25%). it was a horrible experience. Thankfully I was with some great friends to at least salvage the night. I have no intentions of ever returning and it was not even close to a dining experience. More than a shame this event was. Understaffed and overrated.

    Natalie was our server and was excellent. She was attentive to our every need, pleasant, professional. We were impressed with her knowledge of virtually everything in the menus from wine to beef and seafood. There wasn't a thing she couldn't speak on with very helpful information. We had the grilled romaine, Japanese wagyu, king crab, creamed spinach, and the peanut butter cup for dessert. We can recommend each of those without reservation. If you like to share and you let them know you plan to, they separate everything in advance without even having to ask them to do it. The food, services, and atmosphere was fantastic. We would be happy to go back anytime.

    Edward and Madison provided excellent service despite being very busy with private properties. As usual, the food was very good, and the ambience was very nice. It was an enjoyable evening.
