Among the steak houses in southern metro area, this one is an "also ran". The rib eye (16oz) for $72 was a b-. The parmesan fries were over done and tough. The wedge salad was a B+. The service provided by Arturo was excellent. He was prompt, polite and responsive.

First off, Eddie Merlot's is about as far from our house as you can get in the Denver Metro. We pass dozens of "good" steakhouses. So why do we do that? Pretty simple answer... After going to all the rest, We learned that Eddie Merlot's is the best... Period. As usual the greeting at the receptionist desk is pleasant and not hurried. The restaurant decor makes you want to bring your sleeping bag and live there (Clean, open and amazing art). Then the dining experience begins. The table set is reduced to a table for two and we are given a wine and dinner menu. Everything we've ordered in the past (we go there 4 or 5 times a year) and last night is amazing! Rack of Lamb is new on the menu and I couldn't resist. I often have a ribeye but had to have the Lamb. The chef clearly knows how to prepare Lamb. Not many eateries can succeed in this effort. My wife's filet was PERFECT which is nearly impossible to accomplish for her. Now the service! Tom served us the last time and we failed to make a note to ask for him. I saw Tom as we were being seated and we luckily got him this time. As we all know, the server can make a meal excellent or a torturous experience. Tom goes beyond excellent. Patient, knowledgeable, fun personality, and virtually makes no mistakes on the orders. Additionally, Tom has ability to always be there, but never a pest. By the way, Keith (I think the GM) is a great leader and always makes you feel at home. We will go back as often as we can. Oh, Forgot to mention, the price was great for an experience that was an 11 on a scale of 10

Love this place. Happy hour isn’t as good as it was before, but still good. They opened up the back room, which was freezing!! Finally thru turned off the AC, thank God.

We had impeccable service from an obviously well-trained and experienced staff. Even though our steak was very undercooked when it was first served (cool blue rare rather than medium as we had requested), they made an effort to get it right. It still came out medium rare, but was delicious all the same. Our waitress was as good as we have ever had, and the support staff was always there while remaining unobtrusive. Overall a wonderful experience.
