We’ll be open from 11am-8pm and serving a special, three-course, turkey dinner with all the trimmings for $49 per person ($24 for children). As usual our Eddie Merlot’s experience was a great one. Our server David was appropriately attentive and we enjoyed his personality. The food was wonderful.

Our server (Dave) was wonderful, gave us the perfect amount of service while letting us have a pleasant calm and fun dinner. The food was great and everything came out in a timely manor and never felt rushed.

we are usually very happy with eddies but tonight we were a little disappointed with our meals. one of our party was brought the incorrect meal and all of our dinners were brought to us at room temperature. none were hot. very disappointed this time.

My husband and I had dinner here last night. This restaurant is known to be an upscale place and my husband and I have always enjoyed exceptional service and high quality food. Regrettably, this visit was anything but satisfactory. To my surprise, I encountered an inflexible policy regarding menu substitutions (this exact substitution has always been accommodated in the past for me) When I requested to swap fingerling potatoes for a baked potato, I was informed that I would need to pay the full price for the baked potato, even though the fingerling potatoes were included in the meal's cost. The server insisted that the “size of our baked potatoes” made substitutions impossible, showing a lack of willingness to accommodate my request. And anyone that shops at a grocery store knows that fingerling potatoes are a more gourmet option than a baked potato. Moreover, the server’s demeanor was less than professional. When I inquired about his tenure at the restaurant, he appeared insecure and, quite oddly, shouted out from the other side of the bar that he was “almost 33.” This was not only unnecessary but also indicative of a lack of confidence in his role. He failed to consult with a manager regarding my request for a substitution, which further contributed to the disappointing service experience. As for the food, it did not meet the high standards I had come to expect. The shrimp was quite cool in a warm sauce, and the filet mignon lacked the rich flavor that typically characterizes their dishes. Given the premium prices charged at this restaurant, I anticipated a far superior dining experience. I sincerely hope that this establishment can reclaim the quality and service that once made it a standout choice. It clearly has lost its quality, as my husband and I observed that the bar and surrounding area was quite empty for a Friday night.

We we're celebrating a birthday which we always choose the chateaubriand at Eddie Merlot's. Eddie Merlot's has been our spot to celebrate special occasions for years. Last nights experience was abysmal. Let me begin. Our server was friendly but obviously inexperienced she stated that she had only been a server for three days. Our server arrived with the meal to carve the meat tableside. The meat was not cooked properly as it is usually seared on the outside on a skillet or grilled to brown creating a crust and roasted to requested internal temperature. As I noted, we have ordered this meal many times at Eddie Merlot's. The meat appeared to have been grilled on a open flame rendering the meat charred on the outside and very rare on the inside. Our server explained she had never carved chateaubriand before and proceeded to slice the cut of meat down the center then cut slices of meat with the grain which made to tougher to eat. The burnt taste and the toughness of the meat were to say the least, a major disappointment. We had another commitment this night or we would have sent our meal back.

Went again to the bar area for Happy Hour! One of the best bar menus in the area! Service is excellent!

The food was good but, this time last year it was great! I got the filet del mar( this time a different presentation and smothered in sauce couldn’t taste steak or potatoes:( ). Skirt steak special was good but came with 3 starches no veg or garnish. New York strip steak is the best! Full of flavor and nice stuffed tomato with it . Side dishes were tasty! I will give another try, but after that leaning towards another steakhouse. John our server was the BEST!!

We dined on 10/25 after a private event. It was earlier in the day (about 5:15 or so) and the restaurant was slowly filling up for a Friday night but still quiet enough to feel nice and private. We were seated next to the window at the far side of the main dining room and loved the location. Our server, Larry, was nothing short of wonderful. He explained the menu and the specials, answered all our questions patiently and did not rush us in the least. We had just had a chardonnay at the private event that was not on the wine list. We like it very much and asked some questions. Larry found that they had 5 bottles available that we could purchase so we bought them to take home. This is above and beyond service that I find fairly common at Eddie's but still great when it happens again. Larry explained the special dinner they had for 2 which normally had a bottle of wine with it. As we did not want the wine, he offered a 5 course meal for the same price and we had a feast. Main course was Porterhouse for 2 and King crab legs. We also had Carpaccio, soup, salad and dessert (which we took home due to being happily full). Everything was perfect from preparation to appearance to flavor. I encourage anyone to try this special - truly a spectacular bargain and worth every penny. We have been coming to Eddie's since they opened and have never been disappointed. On the rare occasion that something was not quite right, they always took care of things immediately and never with any question. They do believe in customer first and it shows everywhere from the greeting at the front desk to the servers, bussers, food delivery and even upon leaving. We do encourage you to ask for Larry when you go and we thank him for all his great care.
