We pride ourselves on our Prime Aged Beef and scratch kitchen. Our chef selects each steak for the optimum proportion of marbling and texture before hand-cutting and seasoning the steaks to your specifications. From sauces to desserts, we develop recipes to create a truly unique experience for our guests. And, while you enjoy your meal, you'll be treated to the one-of-a-kind service we call the "W.O.W. Factor."

    Disappointing service Took 15 minutes to get waiter’s attention mid meal Only interesting dessert was sold out at 7:30! M Would not Maitre D seem unconcerned about our experience I had brought a guest from Wales for Christmas dinner

    This was our fourth experience at Eddie Merlot’s. We enjoyed immensely the usual delectable and high quality cuisine. The excellent preparation and artfully plated food with generous proportions highlighted our experience. The service was impeccable. Our server, Vanesa, was genuinely warm, kind and attentive. She is awesome and truly an asset. We will definitely return.

    First time to this restaurant and unfortunately it was not a great experience. First, we were seated right by the front door with freezing wind blowing on our table and a screaming baby waiting at the front door for 15 minutes. Then we we asked to be moved, we were told we couldn’t because other tables for were 4 people and we were only two - they then finally came back and moved us. Then, on to the food. My partner ordered a steak and asked for it to be well, well, well, done - literally black! I ordered a steak and baked potato. The wait for bar drinks was quite some time and then finally our food showed up. Well, the well well well done stake was pink in the middle???? The $9 baked potato I ordered was almost cold and the lobster tail didn’t even come its any butter. We sent the steak back and the potato back as well and ordered another drink. I ate my steak while we were waiting. Finally some time later, the food came back and our drinks. He cut into his steak and guess what - STILL pink. At least the potato was a little bit warmer. The waiter was good - but the rest was a poor experience. For the price we expected better. I think the food is better at Texas Roadhouse, definitely will not be back.

    I just left the Boston Seaport location. It was such a disappointing and subpar experience. The manager and supervisor also didn’t seem to care too much about the quality of service. Our server couldn’t find the manager on the floor when we requested to speak but we saw him casually hanging out in the front when we left. At a time when the restaurant was about 60% occupied- it took 40 minutes to receive a soup. It took another 7 minutes for them to bring me a spoon and I had to request it. Finally, when I also had to request a butter knife to spread the butter on the bread (since it wasn’t in the table setting), the supervisor asked whether or not I needed it. Apparently, he expected I would use a fork. Additionally, the caviar did not come chilled and was smeared on the steak with a metal spoon. 👀. The ribeye wasn’t hot and the caviar wasn’t cold either. The grilled tomatoes on the plate were cold. We also noted that the guests two tables over from us were also having a rough experience. As is customary, we tipped our server the 20% and let the manager and supervisor know that they should run their establishment with the exceptionalism it claims and not like a fast food restaurant. I will be returning to Morton’s, or Eddie V’s or Del Frisco’s. Definitely won’t be returning here.

    Just a fantastic holiday dinner last night at Eddie Merlot’s. The hostess staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the pre dinner drinks at the bar were great. Our server, Joseph, was just terrific as he helped with entree, sides and wine suggestions. The holiday menu offerings were unique and very price competitive so many of our 6 person crew chose those. Everything we ordered was truly delicious. Many steak and seafood restaurants in Boston, but from a cool vibe, great food and spectacular service perspective, not many can compete with Eddie Merlot’s!

    My parents enjoyed celebrating their 28th anniversary at Eddie’s. Their server was kind and the food/atmosphere was amazing!

    Eddie merlots is our favorite seaport steakhouse! A family mainstay. We had a great dinner with Jayo providing the best service!!

    -Had to eat with coats on very cold -Strong beans tempura was cold -Lobster mashed potatoes was drowning in butter Had to se d back steak it was too rare ended up bro g home and was still too rare. Ordered it at medium temperature Crab legs were like warm
