Celebrate Thanksgiving at Eddie Merlot’s and join us for a traditional holiday feast. We’ll be open from 11am-8pm and serving a special, three-course, turkey dinner with all the trimmings for $49 per person ($24 for children). I loved the ahi tuna crisps and the filet was just right. My server Olivia was great and didn’t rush me. I enjoyed having a quiet dinner when so many other places are so loud you can’t hear yourself think, let alone the person across the table from you. I was surprised that the place didn’t seem very busy for a Friday night.

Outstanding service for a special celebration that included custom requests and accommodations. Food was expertly prepared exactly to order. Aidan, our server, made the experience exceptional. The tableside Bananas Foster was an excellent closing act to the meal. Kudos is also extended to the host and chef for making the full dinner menu available for our midday event.

We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. A table of eight was served by a single person, and our drink order took an eternity to place, along with the appetizers. The service was overall poor and unacceptable. The food was fine, but it was overshadowed by the service.

Service was slow from the start, not to mention the inattentive waiter! The food was not great, but could have been overlooked if it weren’t for the fact that I felt like I was overlooked. Long wait for everything including water. Told they were out of bread, then manager says they have bread and will bring it, after a long wait. Soup shows up with no spoon, long wait for that. Crab legs show up with no drawn butter, long wait for that. Barely saw our waiter from start to finish! Will not go back nor do I recommend going.

We were seated promptly. Waited for the bottle of NZ wine, that took forever, & then was told out of stock. We picked another wine (OR) & the waiter brought over the wrong one (CA). In the meantime, the appetizers came but had to wait for the wine that finally arrived a little late. By then, the appetizers were half eaten. Not even done with appetizers, the Main Course arrived too early. The Main Course started to get cold. We finished our meal & ordered dessert. The manager came over, & he was aware of the issues. A high-end property like Eddie should've at least offered a small compensation as an apology.

Worst experience in Boston. Sat at the bar for dinner. It was obvious that the bartenders were understaffed. Dirty glasses from previous diners were never picked up. We were not greeted. 15 minutes later, we finally were able to get a bartenders attention only to find out that the bar virtually had no vodka, with the exception of a non premium brand, and all other liquor was depleted too. We should have left then. But we ordered a drink and received it 10 minutes later. Mine was a martini, and arrived in a warm highball glass. I was told the bar was out of martini glasses. We stupidly ordered food and we didn’t get it for quite some time. My soup was not warm and my lobster was not cooked through. How do you screw up lobster in Boston? People that were in a private dining room came to the bar to try to get a drink…. They were extremely upset. The guy sitting next to me ordered a steak 10 minutes before we ordered, and when we left an hour later, he still had not received his food. Terrible experience!
